Have you sorted the hat fitting chlo? yes, and mum was helping me with the sewing some of the fabric together in a nifty way to fit the shape better. but it went a bit wrong last night and i was too tired to unpick it properly (if you're not careful you tear the fabric). conversation with dad last night went as follows "chloe - what are you doing?" "i'm making a hat dad." "right. why?!" "why not?" "... ok" ;D Cool looking forward to seeing it, Dan's gonna get Tam to make me one for my birthday. Hehe, i've had many a convo like that with my dad...only not about hats. ;D

booking another cheap single london-nottingham to get home with tomorrow, just in case i don't make the 5.55pm train - i'd rather spend £10 on a ticket i then don't need than miss the train i'm booked on and have to pay £45 tomorrow... Chloe didn't realise it might take 30-40 mins to get from fulham broadway to kings cross.

Chris is sat here doing nothing... apart from talking to Katie on MSN and watching her through the marvelous invention that is a webcam!

ta!
i kind of know how its going to work - but mum and i weren't thinking properly and cut the middle hole of the brim too small to fit over the frame (we deliberately cut it smaller for seam allowance and then forgot that when i went to stitch it to the other bit). its just having time to mess around with it, won't have any more til tomorrow night/sunday now.

I shouldn't have bothered straightening my hair earlier...its too windy outside, it spent most of the time whirling around my head.

Straighters are useless for me (even if I use a professional one...) if I don't straighten my hair with the hairdryer before... That's the problem: it's what I'm unable to do...My hair are like a bush now... Let's see how it will end up...

Hey, the result is surprisingly good! Not excellent, but good! Of course tomorrow it will be rainy and I'll be out most of the day!
