eBay is being an arse. Not let me log in for a week and a half now. I know my username and password are correct and i've even requested they send me both to check. Not had any emaisl from them. So i contacted customer service last week to ask about it. Yesterday i get a customer service questionaire which asks me how satisfied i was with my response on 3/7/08....errr what response? I haven't bloody well had one.
So i've had to contact them AGAIN!
They so better sort it, i DO NOT want to have to register again and lose all my feedback.

*small rant*
That Drumskin I sold the other week ... 1 week after I posted it, having not received any feedback, I asked the buyer if they had it. They claimed to have not received it. I checked with the post office and it was delivered the day after I sent it. I advised the buyer of this fact and told him to do the usual ... i.e. check with the other people in the house / neighbours / local post office etc etc.
I also asked the buyer to contact me when they'd located it.
Now, the buyer has not done this. I am loathed to contact the buyer and ask because he didn't say anything about not having received the parcel until I contacted them the first time!
I don't know about anyone else, but if I'd spent the best part of £100 on an item and was told the date it was being posted (I sent a message to the buyer telling them when I'd sent it) I'd have been contacting the seller MUCH sooner than this guy did if I hadn't received it.
In some respects, I think this buyer is trying to pull a fast one ... perhaps regretting spending that much on it. On the other hand, they had a feedback record of 1, so perhaps they're just a bit new to it all?!
I dunno ... I just wish I could close this sale once and for all and move on ... *grumbles*
Next time, if an item sells for that much, I will insist on the buyer paying for Special Delivery so we can get the extra insurance!

Had my first negative feedback in 8 years of being on eBay today by ironically a Feeder fan & collector, he probably posts on here!
I posted him a copy of the 2nd Renegades EP in a CD Jiffy bag lined with bubble-wrap also with a 'Fragile' sticker on, even tho it's not even that fragile as anyone's who has a copy will know. Anyway the casing got damaged in the post so I offered a refund minus P&P costs which I thought was fair?
He replied saying he felt my Packaging was inadequate & that I should give him a full-refund plus pay for the postage for him to send the item back to me so I offered to give a full-refund but said I felt it's unfair to ask me to pay for the P&P?
What did he expect it to be posted in a fucking bomb proof container it's a CD for godsake.
Anyway he didn't bother replying he just left me negative feedback, how childish.
Does anyone think I was in the wrong here?

you should add a reply to his feedback so other buyers can see that this guy is just a loon.
from your description, your packaging sounds adequate.

GRRRR, I am seriously pissed off ...
I won an ebay auction for a piece of Ikea Furniture for £4.99 ... there was only 1 bid, so we got it for the minimum price.
I e-mailed the seller asking for the local collection address and a date/time to come pick it up and it took 2 days to get a reply, even though that reply just said "phone me on this number" ... none of the details I requested.
I called that person the next day and we arranged for me to get it on Sunday morning (today) and then he was like "oh, I don't know the address exactly ... I'm on my way there now, I'll call you when I get there with the post code etc".
I found this a little odd, but assumed maybe it was in storage or something?
Anyway, I heard nothing for the rest of the day, so I texted the seller asking for an address. Hours later, I got the reply and it was some unit on an industrial estate.
Again, a bit weird, but it ties up with the storage theory ...
So, today, after a very late night last night, I get up early to make the journey (it's about 45 miles away) to pick the item up and just as I was about to leave, I get a text saying "sorry, I can't make it this morning, I've had some unexpected people staying with me, we'll have to do it another day".
I called the seller and we basically had a big argument about him saying "had visitors" and "it'll cost me more in petrol to get to the place than the £5 it sold for" and things like that. I explain that I can't do another time or date due to my own commitments and he just says "sorry, that's life". He then hangs up on me and turns his phone off!!
Well, mate, the selling price is not my fault and if you make a loss then that's your issue. You made the listing and if you weren't happy to accept £4.99 for the item, you should've listed it with a higher start price.
The seller then e-mails me, rather than calling, to suggest that we cancel the sale as he's "not willing to deal with someone with such an inappropriate reaction to a cancellation of an arrangement".
Fine by me, I wouldn't want to deal any further with this twat anyway.
Still doesn't mean I'm not seriously fucked off ...

So, I sold my old HTC Hero phone on ebay recently. It's locked to Orange, but before I sold it, I did a factory reset and cleared the memory card.
The phone sold and now the buyer is requesting a refund because he can't get some applications to work. He says they force quit on him and is claiming that the item is not as described.
Now, correct me if I am wrong, but the fact that some applications won't install is not a fault of the phone, it's most likely a fault of the application!?
Also, how am I to know what this person has done to the phone since it came into his ownership?! Maybe he's tried to unlock the phone? Maybe he's tried to root the phone?! Maybe he's tried to do all sorts of things to it?!
Why should I therefore have to give a refund?!
I wouldn't be surprised if this joker tried to return a different (most likely broken) handset and keep the one I sold him.
The buyer has now opened a dispute in ebay and that means that Paypal have placed a hold on the funds. Now, I'd actually already withdrawn the money from Paypal so at the moment, I owe Paypal the best part of £80!!!
Seriously, what the hell?!
