After the Renegades gig on Thursday I went to Winchester and then Marwell Zoological Park. I love snow leopards, and it was awesome to see two - just a shame they didn't move much, hardly, at all! It's saddens me though - they're such amazing creatures, but there are people who don't respect or even care about the life of another species...just that they can show off in their furs or make money from them in some way. As well as the trade in fur, snow leopard parts are being used as a substitute for tiger parts in Chinese 'medicine' as more tiger subspecies become rarer...I hate the human race when I think about things like this. Anyway, mini rant over, the other cat is an Ocelot. I think you know what that last character is. I've never seen meerkats before and was surprised how small they were, I thought they were all babies at first!

It's a Canon Powershot S5 IS, which was a high-end compact (£280) 2-3 years ago. I managed to scratch the lens somehow at the weekend but I hope I can manage another year before I buy a new one. It just makes shooting into the sun even more difficult.
