In 16 years of watching motorsport, I've never seen a save as good as this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPCGnkApnDUBare in mind he'd only driven the car for the first time on saturday!

That was good. ITV should move the BTCC to ITV1 now they don't have F1.

Oh yes, silly me. I probably meant just the last race of the day, like they did on occasions a few years ago.

Amazing save, though I have seen others very similar, indeed on that very corner. Much as I hate the git, Yvan Muller did some awesome saves. I seem to remember one by Patrick Watts in the Peugeot 406 in about 1997 ish too, where someone punted him at Silverstone, he went sideways, gassed it, realised he didn't have enough power, changed down a gear, gassed it some more and straightened up! Incidentally, here's one of Muller's awesome saves - amusingly, involving Plato: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZPxrAGcil0And here's one at Paddock Hill bend, same spot as Plato's save: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MjGl1BpSNQ

Nice one Pete, but maybe it should have been posted in THE MANLY THREAD? This video is a little old, but still very interesting: The video title here is pretty self explanatory:
