Swim is my favourite, it's when I first got into Feeder and thought, 'This band is bloody brilliant!'. I got the original blue version, which I picked up for a fiver at HMV back in '96.
Although it might not be the best perhaps musically or technically by todays standards, it's still great and every single track is worth listening to. Especially Sweet 16 and Shade. All the other Feeder albums have a few tracks where I just want to skip past them. Not so with Swim. As Justin Timberlake might say, were he a fan of Feeder - "Swim, I'm lovin' it."

Ah that name Bubble, now that reminds me of 'Here in the Bubble', one of the best Feeder songs ever. If they had put that onto Polythene (which was the album's original working title) then I reckon that might have tipped my favourite album preference from Swim to Polythene. I think the end of Polythene is weak, which lets it down. HITB would have redeemed it. Actually when I think of Polythene, I think of the original Polythene without Change and High. Those two tracks add a bit more class to the album, even if Waterfall was foolishly replaced.

Careful about your talk of kidney transactions. A few years back I had an old FEEDER board dedicated to trading FEEDER gear. On one thread I happened to mention people have tried to sell their kidneys on Ebay and then I let the board slide into obscurity after closing my site down. When I checked the old board a year or so later, I had replies to my message from real people, trying to trade real kidneys! I ain't 'kid'ding either. Somehow despite the references to FEEDER, their were some Eastern European kidney traders on my board! I passworded the board asap to stop that. You can see for yourself if you like (see the entries near the bottom of the board) members.boardhost.com/tfm2Password and username is: guest Then again they could be fakes. But in any case, beware what you jest about on messageboards.
