probably ... as I said, I've found another source of it anyway ... and also some rather interesting news about the song! But I want to hear it first ... {edit} It's the same version as the Cement single poops ... BUT, apparently, that version isn't actually live ... it's studio track made to sound live!!

WhAttTTTTt, so Rush wasnt actually live, listening to it now, it does sound pretty good for a live recording with some audience clapping edited in at the beginning and end. whats your source of this new news if i can ask ?

it makes no sense at all to edit a track to give it a live effect.

the compilation CD only contained live versions of tracks ... I guess they didn't have any good live versions at the time of the release, so made one!
The source is the Head of Marketing at Echo who is a lifelong Feeder fan ... been around since the start ... he is 100% reliable on this kind of thing! : )

I was going to suggest that before but didn't want people flaming me for saying that it isn't live.
And it's not uncommon to do. On Oasis' "The Masterplan" album, "I am the Walrus" was recorded in a studio with the crowd edited in afterwards : )

Just wondering what the story behind this setlist is? I see Rush on the set there...probably just diff song names or my brain not clicking buy Why/Vanilla? And "Here" is Here in The Bubble? And this is the Splash gig shortly after the Sound City gig?

And this is the Splash gig shortly after the Sound City gig? "Why" remains a demo I believe ... described as "Classic Early Feeder" !!!! Vanilla ... no idea on this one! And yes, I would suspect "Here" was "Here In The Bubble" ... they've always shortened names on their set lists! And yes, according to the Feederweb gigography, the Splash gig was 1 month and 1 day after the Sound City gig in 1996.

I have just got my copy of the Home Truths cd, and although it is the same version as on cement, it has the recording info. According to the inlay it was recorded in July 1994 at the Splash club

indeed, not only because it is so early, but also because the Splash Club sounds a weird place to record a studio track

i'm not sure I believe the inlay to be honest ... I'm more likely to believe the Marketing Manager at Echo! ; )

Could also be from the Splash gig on 26th of July : ) Either way, Here In The Bubble live I can only imagine.

Wonder if it's in the vaults at Echo alongside "Blemish"?, was this a contact at Echo telling you about this Pete?, maybe they could send you an MP3 of the tape?.
Of course, if it's legal : ).
