Apologies for being a bit void but is Grant's and partner expecting their second child?!
I'd love to contribute to the present. I'll paypal you Clare if you let me know where I need to go (PM me or something)
Are we also doing a card?

Ok, I have just over £30 so far, if anyone else wants to donate please can they do so asap, as Grant's birthday is on the 12th - obviously he won't get the presents on the day but I'd like to send them to Feeder Central as near to the actual day as possible.
*edit* The ickle Converse are ordered, just need to wait for an email when they arrive at the store so I can collect them. Once I know whether anyone else wants to contribute, I'll see how much I have left over for Oxfam stuff.

Woohoo I'd include a picture of Small Grant but it would probably terrify him And yes, I would contribute but I'm too young for internet money. Good job everyone.

ummm ... are we sure he is 40 ? I thought he was born in 68, not 67 (like Taka) ?!

i'm sure i've read interview where he talks about a guitar he has from '67 that he says is same age has he is.

I have also read somewhere, that he was born in 67, I have looked through my vast scrapbook for something saying his birthdate, and all I could find was a piece called MY First Gig. when he went to see Ozzy at Colston Hall in 1981, and he says he was 11, so that would make him 38 this birthday. It's so confusing

well maybe we should play it safe and not mention 40 on the card .. That's probably the best bet. Save offending him

just had it confirmed ... references to having a zero in his age are ok as he does indeed turn 40 this year mehe ... {edit} I'm sure we've not forgotten, but isn't it Dean's birthday sometime soon as well ? I would organise it, but I'd be crap ... any volunteers?

aye is the 28th, i'd offer to organise something but the whole imminent moving = no internet would pose a problem. any bright ideas for a gift anyone? newcastle fan isn't he, has the shirt already been done a previous year? *edit* only other idea i have is as he does refer to him as the "performing monkey" in feeder is something monkey related? i may be persuaded to offer up my home-made "tall monkey" and make myself another one if there's no other suggestions. not the best photo
