ARRGGGHHH! Bricklayers
Ok, I live with my parents even if I've got my own flat because I have to restore it before moving there (if I'll ever find enough money!!!!) and I can't make the works start before they restore the flat right above mine...
For example their bathroom, which is above my kitchen, is half rotten and pipes are awful, so everytime they used water or used to flush, it was "raining" from my ceiling, which was all covered with mould stains because of that: I don't wish to spend money to restore a kitchen if it gets ruined as soon as they use water!!
We took the owner to court, but he's very influent and he made us loose, making us waste lot of money...
Luckly last Summer an American guy bought the house and he's restoring everything...
Works were really annoying because bricklayers were very noisy and I had to spend the Summer wearing wax earplugs and keeping my windows closed with over 35°C...
Finally they finished the massive works so they aren't making such a mess life before...
I was glad they almost finished the restoring, so I could start to plan mine!
I also called a restorer to clean up and save a fresco from the 20's on my kitchen ceiling, which is half hidden by some pink paint...
This morning,
THE MESS!
My kitchen ceiling collapsed!!
A bricklayer make it collapse!!
He was working on the bathroom and accidentally he put a foot in a rotten spot on the floor: it collapsed all over my kitchen and the guy almost fell down from the ceiling...
There's a huge metallic thread which avoided to make him fell from the hole in the ceiling, otherwise he could seriously hurt himself or even die!
I was so worried but he was LAUGHING! He also told my father :"HAhahaha, luckly your daughter hasn't moved there yet!!"
But FUCK OFF!!You ruined my ceiling, you almost died and you LAUGH?
After that I wasn't feeling so worried for him anymore, but I was sad for my precious fresco which went all distroyed...
Apparently it happended because they worked too hard while they were restoring the floors...
They're going to repair the hole soon (for free, of course...) and at the moment they're checking my brother's flat because today he found some sand and masonry debris fallen from the ceiling: apparently also his ceiling is not safe anymore, so he's a tad scared to stay there...
I'm going to there to take some pictures later...
