I had to have a conversation in German for a whole 10 minutes on Monday! I was actually worried that I wouldn't reach the minimum time and would be umming and erring all the time. But in the end I went on to 12! I am so proud lol And now the ever-so-nice (sarcasm) build up to AS Level exams :/

Yup, but there's less at A-Level. And another downside is that I don't get as much study leave. Instead of like the GCSE students are now (off studying for exams over the next couple of months), I just get the day off before each exam, which doesn't help when they're on Mondays. I think it's quite sad actually, especially considering that the A-Level exams are far more important, and hence you should get more time off. I really do struggle to see the sense sometimes.

In my GCSEs all I did was an hours revision the night before each exam I intended to pass, and I still walked away with nice grades, 4As, 5Bs and 2 Cs. But it's gonna be a different story with AS-level! :S

But it's gonna be a different story with AS-level! :S my mocks were all As and A*s.... but we hadnt finished the syllabus by then so im worried now they stopped making shortcourse RE compulsory for our year at my school, i took history instead. ok, so the course was a tight squeeze, and theres coursework, but it meant that the mark didnt rest solely on the exam!
