OOooh, don't get me started on the "Youth of Today"!! Little feckers, a lot of them. Coming into the hallowed grounds of the library, swearing, running around, nicking the mouse-balls....AND WEARING HOODIES!!
Seriously, though, sometimes I despair for the future of society.

Little feckers, a lot of them. Coming into the hallowed grounds of the library, swearing, running around, nicking the mouse-balls....AND WEARING HOODIES!! They used to do that at my old college! You just couldn't work in the library at all! Inbetween each set of shelves there was a table and sat at each table was a group of uncouth youths who wouldn't move out of the way and would just do all the usual childish pratting around common to the brainless oiks of this sad time in history. No matter how many times it was brought up in student meetings nothing was done about it! Really >:(ing anoying!

No, they did anything but read books. They just hung out, sitting slouched in their chairs being cool. My college had a big 'practical' department like plumbing, building and car things, so there was a slight lack of intellegence among the average population.
(ooo hark at me!)

But art is about the least practical thing around! It'll get you absolutely nowhere. We're all a bunch of pretentious nonces who can do nothing but analyse stuff and wear funny clothes!

But you paint/mould/glue stuff so in that sense its more practical than anything I have ever done (even got out of technology at gcse).
I really have to find you this demo I have by Boyband MC - its all about artists.
OMG type that into google and one of my FFS posts comes up - AWESOME!

We're all a bunch of pretentious nonces who can do nothing but analyse stuff and wear funny clothes! Sounds about right for the load of art studies we've got round here... You don't come over as at all pretentious though.
