The road with the co-op, noodle bar and wine warehouse is almost certainly Dereham Road. From there you probably went to Elm Hill, which is one of the old cobbled backstreets, to The Glasshouse on Magdalen Street. Not too sure what the bar would have been though, there are a few you would pass on the way

It was a ye olde bar with lots of old books

There are a couple of oldish pubs down St Benedicts Street, which would have been the road you walked down after crossing the main road after the wine place, The Ten Bells and The Plough. Further along there is The Lounge which has papers and stuff. You would have probably walked past St Andrews Hall - a big church with a large open area in front of it and another church which houses cinema city opposite. Any of this sound familiar??

oooo there are like some cross roads, you cross those and go up a street, it had a lot of odd shops on it - i recall a comic shop

hehe. well if you come back to Norwich I will remember not to take you in there! ; It closed for a refit at the moment, but is quite nice and cosy so hopefully they will keep it decorated in the same style. Its also really handy because its directly opposite the Arts Centre which hold quite a few decent gigs
