Desperatly need a job but nobody wants to employ me for what reason i don't know! Rang B+Q who put you through to a telephone interview thing. It consists of ranking words like punctual, hard-working, tidy etc 1-5 on the keypad about how they suit you. All good, nice and easy. And that was the 'interview'. Got back the feedback in the post and they'd declined me a job. Based on the fact i am likely to become upset by customers due to be too sensitive, likely to panic when confronted with demanding customers, lacking experience in a busy, working environment and a load of other bullshit. They didn't seem to want to take into account i worked in a supermarket for 3 1/2 years and have delt with that all before everyday! rant rant rant

Sainsbury's, it's on the up you know! A bit confused about their market though, not as cheap+tacky as tesco, not as expensive and classy as Waitrose! Always good to be associated with Jamie Oliver.

sainsburys is better than bloody morrisons. applied there for work a few times & they're never interested, oh yeah i forgot i'm not 16 and on low minimum wage. sainsburys better than b&q i would've thought though, and if you've been there before at least you don't have to go through till training etc again.

i worked at Sainsbury's in my youth ... as a price controller on a Sunday ... which was considered as "unsociable hours" so they paid me double! NICE! best part of £8 an hour for putting the advertising up!
kerching!

I've never worked in a supermarket; I always did bar work and waitressing when I was a student. Of course that was usually at unsociable hours but you still got paid the same rate no matter when you worked!
