Now, here's the thing. Our Morrison's has improved the shopping experience immensely from when the place was Safeway's. I am converted. Tesco's here can go bollocks with it's bollocks nesbit-ness.

each to thier own but personally i hate morrisons. only ever use it 'cos its 2 min walk from my house so when you discover you need icing sugar in a making birthday cake emergency its in the right place. just never fails to annoy me when i'm in there. sainsburys all the way usually, or if i were rich, waitrose. [but there isn't one in nottingham.]

hmm good question, think m&s is more expensive but does that necessarily mean posher? thinking about it, m&s must be posher 'cos they only sell m&s brand food whereas waitrose is like any other supermarket and has other brands as well as their own.

I always get really stressed in supermarkets, particularly at the people who think its 'cute' to let their five year old child scan the shopping at the self-serve checkouts in Tesco. Its supposed to make things quicker, damn it!

you know you've made it when your town gets a waitrose - but its m&s posher? I'm really upset that there's a Waitrose 5 mins walk away from me! Means I have to go there for all my shopping! Their food is very nice though. Sorry if that makes me posh lol

nah it's nice if you can afford it. I hate tesco because I had no other choice when I was at uni for shopping. I wasn't very happy when I found out that 1 quid in every 8 in the UK was spent there...
