Whats the point in doing that? Chris(my mate who drives me to school) does that sometimes and i really don't see the point, if it wastes petrol then why bother?

quite ... you can't complain about spending loads on petrol if you're the one causing the need to fill up so often

I can complain about the price in general though... Doesn't matter how much I use, I still have to pay the stupid price per litre.

I have no complaints. A quid a litre seems fair enough for me. I just use it a little slower...

Fuel is ridiculously priced though hence I cycle 5 miles to work. Get there a tiny bit slower but save loads of cash not forking out on tax, insurance, fuel and general maintence

will make one nice and fit too! I'm not too fussed on learning to drive as soon as i get back to England. The freedom of being able to walk everywhere will be so damn good even in winter. Chris do you drive to work? Yeah i can understand you driving when its raining or whatever but during the summer it seems sensible to walk you live about 15 mins away not even that.

I'm walking in to work again today, takes about 25 mins to do the mile in to work. With traffic it can take 15 mins to drive in and park so for the sake of 10 mins I'd rather save the fuel.

I'd love to be able to get public transport or cycle to work, but the distance and the state of the roads / traffic where I live is prohibitive Not to mention me being unfit Instead, I just work at home 3 days out of 5 Then i don't have to go anywhere apart from walking the 5 yards from the bedroom to the lounge

Well working at home, despite the obvious lack of excercise issues, is a much cheaper and more environmentally friendly way to work anyway. And to be honest it gives you more options for excercise than working miles away and having to get there by car.

hmmm ... yes, do need to do more exercise! January we'll start going swimming again ... might get an exercise bike too so I can bike when the weather is awful. Shan't be joining the gym, however ... waste of money
