Can someone write the lyrics to "Time Goes By"? This song is in Renegades EP.

I went to Hollywood to buy a new dream Met this girl one night on the street She drove me south to a happening bar We sat and watched a priest from afar
There was the one who talked about Elvis but Everyone knows that he's dead There was the girl who kept singing black velvet but...
I still bought it, I still bought it, I still bought it YES I DID!
I saw you and you saw me And we're together Time goes by so easily Like sunny weather
You drove me back Said you'd wanted to leave (?) Santa Monica, face in the breeze I had this image I was back in that bar Remember
There was the one who talked about Elvis but Everyone knows that he's dead There was the girl who kept singing black velvet but...
I still bought it, I still bought it, I still bought it YES I DID!
I saw you and you saw me And we're together Time goes by so easily Like sunny weather
(solo, and a rather funky one too)
Remember, remember it was Saturday yeah I remember, it was Saturday, Saturday I Remember....
I saw you and you saw me And we're together Time goes by so easily Like sunny weather
Time goes by so easily Like sunny weather

There you go. This is what people believe to be the lyrics, however, I still think it's actually:
'I saw Hugh, and Hugh saw me and we're together'
and:
'Hugh drove me back, said Hugh wanted to leave'
But that might just be me.

It's very much "I saw you"... "I saw Hugh" just sounds a bit... Un-Grant

It's very much "I saw you"... "I saw Hugh" just sounds a bit... Un-Grant Haha yeah I know. However, it makes the song much funnier with 'Hugh', especially because I think 'I saw you and you saw me' is just terrible. That's really a shame, as I find the Elvis-part one of the best lyrics Feeder have done.
