Two listens in, my favourite new tracks so far are Sirens and Landslide, followed by Figure You Out. I have one criticism of CD1 & CD2 - I think they should have kept another big hitter for CD2. The only real chart hit on there is Tumble and Fall. I can see people skipping CD2 because of that. Other than that, I think the order is superb, particularly on CD1. Great package! Only slight disappointment is the bad copy-editing in the booklet. “Un-phased” instead of “unfazed” (!!!)...It just makes the whole thing look a little unprofessional. Yeah, I’m with you. I’m amazed that ‘Angels and Lullaby’s’ made it through to the ‘All Bright Electric’ artwork! I agree too. There were a couple of other errors in the ABE package, so it's become a bit of a regular thing.

Quite liking the new material. Easier to get into the ABE.
Particularly like Walk Away, Bees and Sound of Birds. Landslide is quite cool too.

Yeah, I’m with you. I’m amazed that ‘ Angels and Lullaby’s’ made it through to the ‘All Bright Electric’ artwork! Grant has explained that he wanted Angels and Lullaby’s spelled like this. I can't find the interview where he said it.

I can't find the interview where he said it. With all this in mind, do we suppose that ‘Geezer’ was actually written about the Egyptian pyramids and Grant just thought “ah, sod it, I’ll change the spelling”?!? (I’m only half-joking here... the intro does have a bit of an Arabic / North African feel to it...)

For those who bought and received the best of, can you tell if Karl's the drummer on the new songs?

I’ve brought the physical formats (hurt my bank account admittedly) definately a brilliant pieced paxkage, also downloaded it only because I am still waiting for the stuff to arrive, so my iPhone now has got the tunes on it, what I love about the arrows additions is variance and experimental the album is, I heard landslide (released with veins as a double a side I think) on kerrang and loved it instantly so my favourite of the lot so far but great listens
At the moment, the album is at number 9 in the midweeks chart so it’s touch and go if it’ll stay there but just seen the best of tv advert on dave do they’re giving it a push even if radio is not! The comp of new entries is quite high, shania Twain, Miley Cyrus (oh my) david Bowie, etc etc

The silver band name on the front of my CD is a bit flaky, which is a shame. Agree with the comments about poor formatting in the booklet, but oh well!
Not blown away by any of the unheard Arrows songs, but I hadn't got my hopes up.

I'm really enjoying Arrow. For me it seems to be the most instant Feeder album since YWTS (my first Feeder album).
Sirens is my favourite - it's like a follow up to Time Goes By, which I loved. Both sound quite a bit like Weezer.
I like Veins too - it's grown on me a lot since the Virgin session 'acoustic', which I also love.

Accoring to the band on Facebook, The Best Of made the top 10!

Yep - it's now official. Great news! www.officialcharts.com/charts/albums-chart/Tom Petty (& The Heartbreakers) has re-entered at 14 - it would've been ironic if that knocked Feeder down to 11. And do any Feeder fans think the Foo Fighters are any good these days (relevant as their new album and greatest hits was top 10 last week)? The new album seems better than the last one, but their last really good album was There Is Nothing Left to Lose in my opinion.

So the last good album was “Echo Park”? (the equivalent to the third one by the Foo Fighters) I don’t think too many people would agree, which, of course, doesn’t mean that it wouldn’t be a valid opinion, though.

The great part with Feeder is that every album has its mood or feeling. I really like GF. I find ABE a bit "on the edge", I don't dislike it but I don't like it. Like Polythene and Silent Cry. There are great songs, but they're not my first choice when it comes to choose a Feeder album to listen. I have a better feeling with Arrow.

I said similar not identical. I just mean that they're still producing good stuff just not with the same consistency/regularity. I don't think this is something specific to Feeder or the Foos, I think it's pretty common for a lot of bands that go the distance.

I think it's common for bands to continue to produce excellent stuff too (maybe less so, but I'm thinking off the top of my head) - I'd put Feeder in this category. PTS and Silent Cry weren't up to the usual standards for me (despite some excellent individual songs). Renegades was back on form, and with GF and ABE, I think they're pretty much back to their best.

Finally got the album last week for my birthday.
Sound of Birds is a quality tune. Must have played it three times as much as any other song. Landslide and Sirens also very catchy. Love Arrow as a whole though, solid songs all round.
