Well I'm seriously fucked off now due to the phone card company that is used by the halls of residences at Glasgow Uni - basically heres the story:
James calls his girlfriend too much leading to using all his mobile credit, therefore thinks its a good idea to get the phone card they advertise at reception at halls - according to a leaflet its only 2p per minute for off peak calls - however, it neither says how much it is for on peak calls nor does it say when off peak actually is
Fast forward to now - after 1 call of about an hour James has almost no credit on a £10 card - James presumes an hour will cost at the most £1.50, not around £6 and is rather confused - after searching the internet for ages James finds out that "off peak" means in their terms weekend calls (rather than the normal after 6pm) and that any time during the week it is 8p per minute, the same as it costs to call America
For fucks sake why do they only put the costs for weekend calls on the leaflet and label them off peak - they obviously realise nobody is gonna look up so they can rip off people thinking that evening calls will be cheaper - it only tells you off peak means weekend in small print in an obscure part of their website - I am sorry about the language but they are a bunch of total C?nts and they obviously realise on their leaflet if they put the truth down nobody would get their phone cards
Anyway i sent an incredibly rude complaint email to them calling them "despicable liars" and yes as you can probably tell I am very very very angry
Ahhhhhhhhh it feels good to rant sometimes
