As I mentioned in the purchases thread, I bought a new phone off play.com on Sunday night for the relatively cheap price of £69.99 as a deal of the week thing.
It came today.
At least, the box, manual and earphones came.
Annoyingly the box was still sealed, at least, there was a white sticker saying 'secure' holding down the lid of the box. The bit of silvery cardboard that holds the phone is in there too.
Thoughts? What in fresh hell should i do? Do I talk to play or Parcel Force who delivered it?

Is there an e-mail address for that? I can only find links to the helpdesk page, can't be arsed dealing with this sort of thing over the phone, last time I had to do that it took over a month to get it sorted.

dunno, looks like you'll have to look at your order history, according to the help page www.play.com/HOME/HOME/6-/Help.html?page=receivedbut standard procedure with "lost" items is waiting 21 days - so as its a part missing thing then ringing might be better to see if you can speed things up. i know when i had a dvd not arrive from them i did it all via email but had to wait the 21 days first.

well yeah i know you'd prob be best ringing them tbh, ''cos if it was sealed but phone is missing then something obviously wrong in their stock room - they should know to make sure all their stock is ok! (and obviously send you one)

Instead of 0845 8001020 for play.com try 028 90921724 or 01534 877595 01534 nos are Jersey and may cost more than other 01/02 nos and inclusive mins may not apply. Those numbers should be a lot cheaper for ya I love this site.Good luck, they once over charged me when I got a 2 for 1 deal on something and I rung them up and they refunded it straight away, their customer service is quite alright!

it's always best to ring first and if required, follow up in writing. You'll get an instant response via the telephone, afterall ...

Play.com's email service is sadly lacking Apparently they're pretty swift over the phone though
