Been a while I last posted here! Hope everyone's OK. New video up if you're interested, featuring my best guitar/song demos from September. Just a head's up! If you like it then please comment on it and 'like' it on Youtube. It would be greatly appreciated. For more Feeder and alike inspired goodness, check out my blog: songwriterlewisaquilina.blogspot.com/. Thought I'd finally get round to posting it! Be sure to check out my Feeder section on there... kudos! Edit: updated links...

Sorry for the double post, but thought I'd link to my band's Youtube again. We've got some live recordings done of the whole band from our last gig, and any feedback will be more than welcome www.youtube.com/user/OneStopRailwayMusic

Craig great stuff, loved the acoustic of 'The day we lost the city' and the full band version is even better. Look on the 'I bet you look good on the dance floor' video, your mic obviously wasn't working, but it looked like your bassist's voice was yours

Hopefully we're going to get into the studio in the next couple of months after we've played a few more gigs, and get some proper recordings done Haha yeah I noticed that when I saw it!!

Good to see so many members of this forum are making their own music! - divided I can't find the link to listen to your songs, could you post it again? I'd like to listen to your stuff! EDIT: Well, I saw the video with your demos. Great guitar play man! - Song of Storms, it's obvious why Dance Jimmy Dance is a fan favourite, it's a great tune!! and Distraction... very good! - Craigo, keep up the good work and let us know when the full tracks are up! EDIT: "The Day We Lost The City" is brilliant mate, congrats! A performance full of energy! - I'm also making music so if you have time I would be very glad to hear your opinion! It means a lot when it comes from guys that make music too! Here's the link for my LastFM page where you can hear my first EP: www.last.fm/music/Desert+Lizard/Heat!+-+EP The song versions are full and you can download them without any charge if you have an account, which is easy and free too. To hear the full song versions even if you don't have an account click at the song names (not "play" button) and you will be redirected to a new page where you can have a listen! My personal favourites are "Brand New", "Victims" and "A Case Of Change". For more info I've started my own thread here at the forum www.feederfansite.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=4294 I'm waiting for you opinions and thanx for your time!

Thanks a lot!! It's a really fun song to play live, so it means a lot to hear that people like the way it sounds too! I think your stuff that I've listened to is great too! Unfortunately my internet's rubbish so I've not been able to listen to it all, but I love the guitar work in "Get A Life", and I think the vocal effect you've got on "Brand New" is awesome!

Thought this would be the appropriate place to plug my original ten-song-strong demo album 'Believe'--now uploaded in its full raw glory. If you dig CIS then I think you'll appreciate what I tried doing here--bearing in mind I did this between ages 15-17 and still being new to Feeder as pretty much the most important band to influence me; not forgetting the music of Final Fantasy--that sure helped my keyboard playing! I'd be humbled if this inspires anyone... Uploaded on Myspace for old-skoolness: www.myspace.com/lewisaquilina [make sure to listen in numerical order] Oh and I even wrote a backstory to this: storify.com/lewisaquilina/i-could-still-believe-long-before-i-had-discovered [see link to my blog at bottom of post for more in-depth view] So ya if it weren't for that combo (Feeder + Final Fantasy) this surely wouldn't have happened! I'm sure it's not what most teenage lads do in their spare time anyhow, let alone play guitar on keyboard! I was so disappointed not to have been able to finish this though, having been kicked outta home and having to leave my precious keyboard behind... well life goes on. Here's my Soundcloud: bit.ly/SC_LA [features raw recordings still, but played on real guitar]

Kicking off with alternative fuzz and then sweeping into melodic acoustic, with quality - now mixed - improvisations all recorded in September 2010. My first improvisational demo EP 'Leavin' Harbour... Two Years to the Month' bit.ly/SLjGka

So I've been playing in a band with my friends for a while now and finally decided to become official we're recording at the moment and about to release a 10 track - probably around March time. Many of the songs we have written are heavily influenced by Feeder and Idlewild, we have some material on our facebook and soundcloud, there should be 3 tracks out before the end of this month to download for free, have a look! www.facebook.com/roadstoruinuksoundcloud.com/roads-to-ruin-uk

Someday is pretty cool. As well as being slightly Feeder-y it reminds me of someone else but I can't think who. I hope you don't mind me saying that I think it should have a bit more dynamics in it. Kicking off with alternative fuzz and then sweeping into melodic acoustic, with quality - now mixed - improvisations all recorded in September 2010. My first improvisational demo EP 'Leavin' Harbour... Two Years to the Month' bit.ly/SLjGkaI like the fuzzy track and the interlude. Nice work.
