just had my 4th listen to the album and can honestly say there's nothing that i don't like. My faves are deffinately COTS ( love the song that's tagged onto the end too) , hey johnny and idaho. As someone previously posted, i too have found myself humming these tunes. Best Feeder album in years.

I see it as a 'Hidden/Bonus track' so they usually arent named on any artwork but I would say it's 'Skylight' although i've heard people say 'Skylife?' not sure why as G defo says 'Skylight'. I'll be tagging it as Skylight in iTunes then until we have solid confirmation. Have split it because I hate hidden tracks being on iTunes! How do you do that? I know you can do it with a music editing software but when I do that for some reason the volume comes out louder then the rest of the album (annoying). Is there an easier way?

In iTunes you can define the start and stop points of songs. I made a copy of COTS in Windows explorer, imported that into iTunes, names it Skylife, and made the start point of the song at about 4 minutes. I also made Children of the sun end at about 4 minutes.

I know you can do it with a music editing software but when I do that for some reason the volume comes out louder then the rest of the album (annoying). Is there an easier way? 1) Right click the song you want to split. 2) Click 'Get Info'. 3) Click 'Options'. 4) You'll see a 'start time' and 'stop time' (Children In The Sun I just changed 'stop time' to 4:17). 5) Click OK. 6) Right click the same song. 7) Click 'Create AAC Version' or 'Create MP3 Version' depending on how your import settings are, it'll only come up with one. 8) It will create a new copy of the song with the potion you selected. Everytime you play the original track, it'll stop at 4.17 though, so be sure to right click after, and delete the stop time, it'll default back to the original length when you click OK. Then do the same with the original 6 miute odd version for the Hidden Track (mine started at 4:19 or 4:20 I think). 1) Right click the song you want to split. 2) Click 'Get Info'. 3) Click 'Options'. 4) You'll see a 'start time' and 'stop time' (I just changed the stop time here). 5) Click OK. 6) Right click the same song. 7) Click 'Create AAC Version' or 'Create MP3 Version' depending on how your import settings are, it'll only come up with one. 8) It will create a new copy of the song with the potion you selected. Then do what you wish with the original MP3 (remebering to delete the start time if you want the original still on your iTunes). I've done this to the Yesterday Went Too Soon version of Paperfaces too.

ok, i've given the album a few listens now and i can safely says its my least favourite out of all their albums (apart from renegades which i really didn't like at all). I can listen up to tiny minds and then thats it, i actually dislike every song after that.
so yeah, not my fave i'm afraid.
I like Sunrise and GF and I love Idaho... it should definately be a single! the rest i can take or leave

I was a little underwhelmed at first but now I'm absolutely loving it! The only song I'm not too fussed about is Fools Can't Sleep, the rest is golden!

Anyone know the lyrics to the chorus of 'Hey Johnny'? I can't seem to work out the second line of it...
Johnny didn't seem that low Johnny didn't seem that old Johnny didn't seem like .....?
The first one is obviously the one that fits, but it sounds different to me every time I think about it. :/

After finally getting round to listening to the album as a whole without any distractions I have changed my mind.
IT'S A FRICKIN' MASTERPIECE!!!!!!
It may well be my second favourite Feeder album...

I would guess one is either a holding entry that is now wrong or you've got a native release and an import uk edition

i find that when i put the album on, it;s just background noise; but when it finishes i'm either humming away or putting it back on instantly. i know i like it, but it's absolutely impossible for me to pin it down anywhere! i think this is mostly because i don't really listen to many bands like feeder any more, barring back catalogues.
i love In All Honesty. Definite single material. Catchy as, and the "badapbapbaaaaahhh's" - got to be on the radio that'un!
somebody said somewhere (can't remember who) that it reminded them at times of ywts? that In All Honesty in particular does so for me!

After a few listens, I can say I really like it. Favourite tracks have to be In All Honesty, Sunrise & Oh MY. Like the decent amount of solos as well.
I'd be inclined to say that it was their best since Comfort In Sound, but I know that a new album can also cause me to be biased as well, so I'll make that judgement in a few months time.

It's for me their 3rd best album behind YWTS and Polythene.
