Live Feeder Session on Radio 2 tomorrow (14th Jan) at 4.30pm. Dermot O'leary show but with Cerys Mathews presenting I haven't listened to the whole thing yet but it sounds like it was Borders followed by JTWIF.

Yeah, just the two tracks. It also seems that Chris Sheldon was the producer again for the album

If Borders is anything to go by, this album might actually rival with silent cry for my favorite album by them.
I'm still not sure how I feel about the album cover, however it is slowly growing on me. I like how they are sort of trying something different since working on Renegades. Sadly Grenades wasn't my cup of tea. Although I wasn't very fond of the album I still have respect for Feeder for trying something different, however you always run the risk of disappointing some fans by doing that but at least they were brave enough to try something new. While I may not like the album, some of the renegade stuff makes excellent live songs!
I'm really hoping Generation Freakshow will be an amazing mix of songs!

Haha the presenter thought Dean was Taka. At least she's done her research... sort of!

Just listened to the Radio 2 show...
The woo-ing is a bit less intrusive on the acoustic Borders. I was waiting to see if he'd do it as high as it is on the studio version, but thankfully he didn't try it! Dean's backing vocals in the Borders chorus are fantastic. The keys in JTWIF are also brilliant.
In case you couldn't tell I've had a really nice 15 minutes or so listening to that show!

the retailer sites will be out of date, no doubt ... Recordstore are also showing the 23rd April.
The postponed date came from the Feederweb e-mail, so it's most likely true.
The Japanese release date is strange ... although it wouldn't be the first time a UK band's album has been released in Japan first. I seem to recall that happened with the last Muse album.

lost interest in Feeder when they were doing renegades stuff ( something i thought would never happen) but now i'm back in love with them again, Borders is brilliant and finally Grant has got rid of his grungey long hair , can't wait for the new album just gutted i'm not seeing them live this year.

I guess He was available when the vid was due to be filmed, and Karl was busy elsewhere.
Really wish Feeder would recruit a proper full time drummer now though...

Really wish Feeder would recruit a proper full time drummer now though... Agreed, and I wish that drummer would be Damon!

I have got nothing against Karl, but the fact is that Damon suits better with the band's image and style. Also, he reminds me of Jon in a positive way, so I would be the happiest person ever if he was to become a full time drummer for the band
