Hello,
I am a 15 Year Old motorsport fan. I have always wanted to get involved with my favourite sport all my life; I am 6'2, so I knew I could never be a driver, and I don't like the idea of being a commentator, even though I am forever correcting them
So, I decided that journalism was the way to go. Over the course of last year my links with the motorsport community have grown stronger, and 2013 looks set to be a packed year for me! So, earlier this week I decided to start a Facebook page for my work, and here it is!

Here is today's edition of my Daily Motorsport Round-Up, which, as you probably guessed, is a daily report on motorsport news and events from around the globe!
"I do believe it's time for the Daily Round-Up! Today, to my knowledge at least, there has been no news stories emitting from the world of Formula One. This means that today I can focus on the rest of the Motorsport world.
First to the WRC, and Sebastien Loeb has clinched his seventh Monte Carlo Rally victory, slightly earlier than he expected. The final two stages of the day were cancelled following heavy rain in a previously very snowy and icy area. Due to the weather, the majority of the fans decided to leave, causing massive congestion on the local roads. It was felt that this would be a hindrance to the action plan the event organisers had in place if an incident occurred, therefore the last two stages were cancelled.
This meant Loeb won the rally by one minute 39 seconds, with Sebastien Ogier second. Dani Sordo came third while Mikko Hirvonen was fourth, meaning three quarters of the top four were Citroen factory drivers. Though this was aided by the various calamities on stage fourteen; The fearsome Col de Turini.
Qatar M-Sport drivers Evgeny Novikov and Juho Hanninen were both casualties, as was VW driver Jari-Matti Latvala. 2011 Monte Carlo winner Bryan Bouffier was victorious on the challenging stage, which the drivers ran through twice.
So Loeb has added another jewel to his crown as the best rally driver of the modern era, and possibly even as the greatest of all-time.
In NASCAR, Aric Almirola was the pacesetter at the final Sprint Cup pre-season group test in Charlotte. The Ford driver lapped the oval in 27.832 seconds, faster than last year's pole time. Ford head to Daytona with some great momentum, as Carl Edwards, Casey Mears and former V8 Supercar racer Marcos Ambrose rounded out an all-Ford top four. Jimmie Johnson was fifth in his Chevrolet, with Mark Martin being sixth place and the fastest of the Toyotas.
2012 Nationwide Champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr was tenth in his Ford, while former Formula One drivers Juan Pablo Montoya and Scott Speed ended the session 11th and 33rd respectively. The test left NASCAR officials certain that the new for 2013 cars were going to provide better racing this season.
In the world of GT's, Risi Ferrari have announced their return to the American Le Mans Series for this season, and have also committed to competing in next year's merged ALMS/Grand-Am series. This is a boost to the already strong GT class, which looks set to be as hard fought as ever in 2013.
Stephane Peterhansel has secured his eleventh Dakar victory after carefully competing the final stage of the rally. The victor finished the event 42 minutes clear of second place finisher Giniel de Villiers' Toyota. The X-raid team filled four of the five top positions, which is a fabulous result.
Now to Touring Cars, and the Superstars series. Chevrolet team Solaris have announced that they will run a Chevrolet Camaro in the primarily Italian-based championship, alongside the Lumina they raced last season. The team are hoping to have a good season with the new car, and persuade Chevrolet into launching a works Superstars programme.
Lastly, some news from the Two-wheeled side of Motorsport. Moto GP boss Carmelo Ezpeleta believes that the CRT bikes would be much closer to the front of the field if top riders were to try them out. The CRT's were clearly slower during 2012, with Michele Pirro claiming the highest finish; A fifth place at the rain struck season finale in Valencia, Spain. He conceded that it was highly unlikely to ever happen, but he did say that if a leading rider took to the saddle of a CRT, there would be some difference.
