They're currently playing Buck Rogers on The Late Late Show in Ireland, but fear not, I am recording. Not sure who the drummer is, I don't think he's played with them before. Also it's only the 3 of them and they're playing with a pre-recorded track which seems to just be the studio instrumental, but pitched down to the Eb tuning they play it in these days. A very bizarre performance all round, but still pretty cool. Edit: I managed to record the video, but not the audio. Shit. Hopefully I'll be able to get it on catchup... Edit 2: It's on catchup, but I'm having trouble ripping it. Here's a link if anyone wants to try: www.rte.ie/player/gb/show/the-late-late-show-extras-30003017/10840193/

Here we go. Definitely a weird mix for the track, and the drummer looks like he's out of Korn!

Geoff Holroyde’s in the latest rehearsal photos on Instagram, so he must still be with the band - I guess this is a session guy in Ireland who just learned the track for the hour.
Tell-tale sign: he holds the sticks using traditional grip. That is so rare for a rock drummer.

Looks like they've hired in the guitar and bass too.
Strange...

It sounds like a remastered version of Buck Rogers (like My Perfect Day). Btw it feels like Grant reeeeally strugles when he sings old school songs. Sometimes backing vocals are louder than Grant's. Maybe it's just an audio balance issue, but it makes the performance a little bit decaf.

It sounds like a remastered version of Buck Rogers (like My Perfect Day). Yeah, that's certainly not the original. He's always struggled to sing Buck Rogers with any feeling at least.
