Would be more than happy to hear the Manchester set when I'm at Leeds on Tuesday as it has Piece by Piece, Stereo World, My Perfect Day, Yesterday Went Too Soon and Silent Cry. Also Shatter is back in. Not sure why Tender has also made a come back though, could we perhaps have Turn instead! And as I'm no great fan of Children of the Sun perhaps Cement in the encore. Sorted. Tender is fantastic live these days, one of my favourites - it's so much heavier than before and sounds huge towards the end. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind if they swap it out every now and again because I've seen it live a few times now - but I hope it doesn't disappear again forever because it's actually one of the best in the set IMO.

24 songs. Though the last 3 sets have been identical (‘Cement’ aside)... Shame ‘Who’s the Enemy?’ Didn’t get played - selfishly not too worried as we didn’t get it in Norwich - but it’s good that they were close to playing it! If it didn’t have a vote, I’m sure the crowd will have enjoyed it, it’s definitely Silent Cry’s highlight!

Leeds was amazing, possibly the best set I've seen Feeder do for 15 years and well worth the long drive. Two hours and five minutes on stage, 24 songs. Crowd took a lot of getting going but they got there eventually. Never been too sure about about Feeling A Moment as an opener but I guess it gets it out the way From there onwards they really rocked. The treble hit of Stereo World, My Perfect Day and Cement was just amazing. Cement got played despite losing in one of Grant's annoying votes. Who's The Enemy also lost but wasn't reprieved. Shame. Piece By Piece, which I've never heard live before, sounds so fantastic. Then a five song encore that really wound the 'casuals' up who had been shouting for Just A Day since about the third song of the night. We all love a bit of Just A Day but don't you just wish they're throw it in early sometimes so that the rest of us can then enjoy the rest of the set in peace. Yesterday Went Too Soon was immense, as ever. Now to Nottingham, where sadly they will have to trim the set a little due to the strongly enforced early curfew there.

Did anyone catch Sweet Little Machine in Birmingham/Leeds?
My friend was on guitar, beat my band to the Kerrang comp...
We had a glimpse of hope when I got a call asking if we were still available for the dates (before the winner was confirmed) but didn't hear back. *cry*

Two hours again in Birmingham. I really appreciate it when bands play longer than average sets, knowing they could get away with less. I thought Figure You Out sounded especially awesome, as well as Eskimo and plenty of others. It was fantastic to hear four songs from Polythene, plus YWTS. Now I'm hoping for the return of Shade. I think the video backdrops have been brilliant on this tour - some of the best I've ever seen from any band. Not just the nostalgia of the old artwork and photos, but the quality in general. Also, just to bring up the whole shouting vote thing again- it’s massively flawed in that Grant just says “who wants to hear Piece By Piece?” There was genuinely a part of me that hesitated, because I didn’t know what the other option was! I mean yes, I definitely want to hear Piece By Piece, but what if the next option is “who wants to hear Feel It Again?” despite it being really unrealistic, a part of me did hesitate just in case! Grant fixed the voting system in Birmingham. He said we have a choice of Crash and Cement, then gave time to cheer for either. unfinisheddrawings I agree with the comment about Tender. I was surprised when it suddenly sounded awesome a tour or two ago. It's about time it was dropped for the next tour though. Pushing the Senses is another that sounds way better live post-2010, but again I wouldn't miss it. So the tour is nearly over. I think a nice next step would be a smaller venues Polythene tour - not played in order, and mixed in with a few other songs from the era.

Birmingham same again - looks like they've settled on that set. Looks like it, yeah. If they have to settle, I think that’s a good version of what’s on offer. So that leaves, I think, four songs on the pile marked ‘mooted but not yet played’: - Forget About Tomorrow (played in the dressing room in Lincoln) - Turn (marked as a possibility in Lincoln) - Who’s the Enemy (ditto, plus a few other shows) - Crash (a possibility in Birmingham) I hope each of those songs gets an outing before the tour ends. Fingers crossed for London on Saturday.

Did anyone catch Sweet Little Machine in Birmingham/Leeds? Sadly no. Didn't realise there were two support bands until I got there but too late to catch the first one. Now I'm hoping for the return of Shade. Yes please! Just one outing in recent memory, last date of the GF tour and I wasn't there! Grant fixed the voting system in Birmingham. He said we have a choice of Crash and Cement, then gave time to cheer for either. Crash or Cement!!! Is the man insane? How are you supposed to choose. Naturally I'll be voting Crash if that happens in Nottingham but only because I'm being selfish as I heard Cement in Leeds. The only sane answer is BOTH. A Polythene era tour would be great but equally I'd just like them to do a 'rarities' show where they could play the stuff off all the albums that doesn't get played. In either case its probably got to be sort of low key so that they don't feel under pressure to do all the big songs.

There was the first part of the Renegades tour back in 2010, when they toured smaller venues under a pseudonym. I remember they played Tangerine, WIT and a few heavier songs that had been off the set for a while, like Descend and Sweet 16.

Just got back from Brixton.
Forget About Tomorrow is literally my favourite song of all time and it was utterly amazing.
Other pluses: intro video with MPD in the background was spine-tingling, crowd and atmosphere was fantastic, and...well... Forget About Tomorrow x 1,000,000

I’ve seen Feeder 8 times now dating back to 2006 but I’ve gotta say last night was probably the best of them all. To have heard 6(!) songs that I’ve never heard live before was unreal and way more than I ever could’ve hoped for. Well, 7 if you include Figure You Out, but this is the first time I’ve seen them since that was released, so it doesn’t count the same. It really, really did feel like a ‘Best Of’ show.
Cement was a bit of a highlight for me. One of those songs that I didn’t realise how well I knew it until it started, but I then found myself screaming along to the whole thing.
Piece By Piece was a great touch and one of my favourites on Echo Park. I remember thinking towards the end of the encore that it was a shame that Turn had already came and gone after the last mini tour and already been replaced with another Echo Park deeper cut, but then we got that too!
The encore was just fantastic all round. I thought they’d come back out and do an acoustic number, maybe also Seven Days in the Sun if we’re lucky and then finish with the usual Just a Day (which, even by now, is still my favourite moment at every Feeder gig), but for them to come out and do an extra 7 songs was amazing.
It helps too that the Brixton Academy is just a fantastic venue. The sound’s good and with the slanted floor you can stand absolutely anywhere and have a perfect view.
All in all an amazing night and not just one of the best Feeder gigs I’ve been to, but one of the best of any band. That’ll take some topping.

I’ve seen Feeder 8 times now dating back to 2006 but I’ve gotta say last night was probably the best of them all... I agree with everything you said. I thought it was a great set, the new(ish) line-up has gelled and Grant seemed to be enjoying himself more than I’ve seen for a long time. It was all a bit surreal in places. For a band, getting to play a Best Of show must feel like coming full circle. It means you survived! In a way it felt like coming full circle for me too. The first time I saw Feeder live was at Brixton Academy in 1999. I was a schoolboy then. To see them last night, playing a Best Of tour, with my wife next to me and our little baby asleep at home with a babysitter was... weird. I got a bit misty-eyed when Grant talked about writing 'High' in his flat in 1998 and pointed out his wife and family sitting upstairs. Thank you Feeder. It’s been a weird 20 years.

Someone uploaded the full set from London Last 7 Min recorded after his camera battery died Great video and an incredible set list. But what's up with Grant singing the wrong lyrics in the chorus of Stereo World?

How can someone record the whole set? Must have a stiff wrist now (no comment please!). Much as I appreciate people recording from sets, I hate it when they block my view. (Can't have it both way I suppose.) Brilliant gig - Got me thinking of all the times I've seen them before and how I love this band. "Best of" gigs seem quite popular. It's a way of giving the fans chance to reminisce - I certainly did.
