*sigh*It annoys me so much when it comes to things like this... "This game's racist". Erm, no it's not. You're shooting zombies, the setting happens to be in Haiti, where, good lord most people are black. Nobody kicked off when it was set in Spain and you were killing people with slightly tanned skin, but god forbid a black person be shot by a white guy in a game... Racism only exists because of people making these arguments. If these idiots left it alone and just let the game come out, there would be no comments like this at all...

Didn't you know that Night Of The Living Dead was racist 'cos the main character is a black guy that mostly kills white people? Everyone knows that. Yes I'm being sarcastic. I think it's pathetic!

Anyone who likes Pokemon over the age of 12 is a bit sad I can understand why people may take this (rather blunt) view, especially with the cartoon and the toys, they're definitely aimed at children. The games however are rather sophisticated RPGs with a lot more to them than people might think. For the record, I'm nearly 21. QFT Kev.

I was wondering when you were gonna speak up, I needed backup FFVII/Pokemon debate aside, Knuckles (and pretty much all pre-dreamcast Sonic), is truly awesome.

I dunno about anybody else, but does anybody remember Operation Flashpoint for the PC?
I play ArmA on PC, and I was playing it last night, it's the follow-on game from OFP. But I used to have to play it with the minimum draw distance (500m), everything set to low in the graphics options and didn't think it looked too much better from OFP. Last night I was playing it at max draw distance (10,000m), everything graphical to the maximum, and it looks absolutely fantastic! Quite possibly one of the best looking games I've seen - more due to the fact it doesn't have any HDR (High-Dynamic Range) which quite often ruins games by making them too shiny.

I've got both - Op Flash is one of my favourite games ever. I love how it doesn't sacrifice realism for accessibility or big flashy effects. It's so damn hard and there are quite often big pauses between the action, but I love just the relentless realism and the real feeling you could get your head blown off in one shot by just a lowly grunt.

Yep, I play the co-op missions online on ArmA. Have good fun doing it, brilliant challenge, the AI is spot on too. I'm very good at getting shot in the legs and having to crawl away after killing the guy who got me... Luckily one of us is usually a medic which helps a bit. On a racing related thing now... I tried being Nigel Mansell a couple of nights ago... img.photobucket.com/albums/v418/nukez/rFactor/GRAB_003.jpg...and failed: img.photobucket.com/albums/v418/nukez/rFactor/GRAB_036.jpg

Well I've just pre-ordered GTAIV's special edition for the second time... play.com have zero customer service, and I want it on the day of release... Seeing as the special edition appears to be an interweb only jobby, I've ordered from gameplay as well, who appear to be quite good with this...
Next week will be interesting. I don't know whether to cancel my play order outright, or just wait and see who dispatches it first... (Play.com can deliver to work, whereas Gameplay can't as its my first order)... Hmmm... Decisions decisions

Decisions decisions I'm taking the chance and buying mine from Tesco on release day, if they have it. They're usually £10 cheaper than anywhere else.

Game aren't guaranteeing release day delivery for GTAIV any more... They're not sure on how much stock they're getting in

Can't be fussed pre-ordering. I'll just buy it from a shop on or around release day, I've never had problems getting any GTA game before.

I got bored and opened photoshop.... The nickname 'Gravel Boy' comes because I quite often push too hard, and have a very oversteery setup on the car (back end slides around alot) and I find myself in the gravel a fair bit - although I'm getting more consistant

Ah, good ol' OFP, now that was a good game, probably 'stole' 5 years of my life . Even spent quite some time working with the editing tools to create some add-ons. Was a great game to play online and to edit for. Lots of fun! I somewhat dropped off with ArmA though, I bought it, but I never get around to play it on regular basis. Regarding the best game ever discussion: we can close that topic by all agreeing that Grim Fandango was best I only really play Live For Speed S2 lately with some friends or 'alone' on random servers Regarding GTA IV, I want, but can't. No X360/PS3 and the same goes for the money to buy one Only got a Wii

I only really play Live For Speed S2 lately with some friends or 'alone' on random servers I've played LFS S2 for a long time now (probably 4 years ish?). I rarely play it anymore due to the fact I'm bored of the same content over and over again, so I've moved on to better race sims (RACE07 and rFactor) I'd like to say I'm pretty well known through the LFS community due to the fact I'd played it for such a long time.

I hadn't noticed how good the Chevys were getting in the WTCC, I'd not watched it for a while and then saw the Mexican round. Unfortunately, though I've nothing against SEAT and I quite like the Leon, this season is going to be mighty boring if all the races finish SEAT TDi 1-2-3.

Yaaaaaay!!!!! The Metal Gear Online Beta has gone live a day (well, an hour) early! Unfortunately, several hundred thousand other people have found this too, and sent Konami's servers into meltdown
