Well Crashmat uses an iframe as the viewing window, so all you see in the address bar the whole time is www.crashmat.co.uk/home.htm and that could be shortened to remove the home.htm if I dispensed with Umbrella Guy on the main page. Never gonna do that tho ; ) Nance says iframes are good .... never heard of em myself!! But, on looking at Crashmat to see what you mean, I just noticed the description of the Anorak!! Excruciatingly detailed and comprehensive account of just about everything Feeder have ever released, from the fabled Two Colours EP right through to the Comfort In Sound stubby beer cooler.brilliant ... the stubby beer cooler is an odd item isn't it ... I knew someone that thought it was a wristband at first!!

They're much easier to use than basic frames, but I don't think Netscape can view them. Of course last time I checked my viewership they were running IE about 70% of the time and Firefox the rest.
As for the description, I couldn't resist the excuse to work the stubby cooler in ; )

iframes are pretty easy to implant, basic code:
<div style="background-color: black; margin: 0 auto; text-align: left; overflow:auto; width:500px; height:500px;"> </div>
However I've little idea about changing the content of the area, may want to view Stu's sources on his main page, not the bit inside the iframe.

Mine is hella basic:
<iframe name="main" src="news.htm" width=540 height=280 margin=0 frameborder=0></iframe>
I gave it the name 'main' and all the links in the menu have their targets set to 'main'. Easy.

I used Dreamweaver back when I started, but the htm files have hardly changed in years so all my updating is done in Notepad or ConTEXT!

OMG there's an iframe tag? That would have made my life so much easier! I had to search google for ages to get that code, like 18 months ago!

Where'd you pick up one of those? I bought it off Heulwen ... a fellow Feeder fan but has recently lost the need to have her collection (she still has the songs) ... : ) I've only ever seen one other for sale on ebay ... i've never inflated it though ... it's safely tucked away with my vinyl and stuff ;D

ok, i've given the page a bit of an over-haul ... corrected any errors (I hope) and added a LOAD more content! : )
can i put the Feeder Online list on there as well, or is it already on FFS? If it is, then can I simply link to that? Don't want to steal anyone elses hard work!!!

There's a Feeder Online page on FFS but it's not live yet because it's not quite finished. It's all good content though, stick it on the Anorak, that way it'll all receive maximum exposure

It's all good content though, stick it on the Anorak, that way it'll all receive maximum exposure so long as you're sure! : ) I will credit this board and Ian for making it anyway! ok ... tis done ... I tell ya what, when your page on FFS is online, I'll simply link to that, so there's only one web-master that has to keep the list up to date : )
