you could always post any gifts to the folks at Feeder Central / Feederweb and they can deliver it ... they've done it before Quite happy to ask them if you want me to.

Dammit. This thread made me snigger so much that my Dad thought I was crying and came into the room and wanted to know what was so funny! It was bloody hard to make him go away!
Sorry.... I don't know what you'd give Taka. I know very little about him. I'll leave gift choices up to more experienced Feederites.

really need to decide something about this don't we! *braindead* Now that FFS are having t-shirts printed, couldn't we have one done for Taka, like ' Bounciest Bassist', or something, I think Taka would be pleased enough that we had remembered it was his birthday. What did you do last year, Or is this a new thing?

Another T-shirt idea could be ' The most famous Yorkshireman in Japan'
I thought it sounded quite catchy anyway

well as clare and i were in brighton yesterday and realised its his birthday tomorrow... we found him a card (piratey one that says 4 today... gonna add a 0 to that ), some jelly beans and a goat from oxfam - we figured we'd stick with the charity thing on such short notice. so if folks wanna contribute a couple of quid (goat was £24) then same plan as before - paypal me on chloe_yates@hotmail.com or if you wanna send a cheque, pm me for my address. OR as Redbourn is only 2 weeks away & you're going, you can give me cash then any bright ideas for a general message from us all? clare and i thought something along the lines of "oxfam didn't have any bouncy kangeroos so we got you a goat instead". hope thats all ok with people - we can always still do the tshirt idea but at least now he's getting something nearish his bday.

Good thinking. I'll give you some cash at Redbourn...or we'll work it in with what we owe each other.

Yes, me too Chloe, I'll give you some money at Redbourn, Then when you get home you will realise you have spent it all in the beer tent, only joking, that's the sot of thing I do
