Where do you go to college btw - i didn't think there was much in Farnborough other than an airfield.

You know about it?!!? It's meant to be 'the worlds largest, most famous air show', yet nobody seems to hear of it! Im well impressed!
There's the 6th Form College where i did my a-levels. It's meant to be the best 6th form in the country. It got some award from her madjesty's chief education inspector. God that was drilled into us so often...
My degree is at the Technology college, it's where most of the pikeeys go to do their NVQ's + Diploma's where they arn't clever enough to do a-levels. The degree is run by the Uni of Surrey, but based here. The tech college is right next to the airfield actually!

well airfields don't really float my boat but my dad is well into planes and stuff so that is how i know of it.
ahhh well know i know, personally i think of technology colleges as places with computers and saws and shit, no places i really want to have muscle samples taken!

I had my muscles sampled in a big bio-lab thingy, i volunteered through the college! I got one of those tap type things in my vein too where they can keep on taking samples! that hurt

why did you do that with your vein? did they pay you?
I had weekly blood tests on a friday morning and that was bad enough.
You do sports science right? so you must know gym stuff.... does a cross trainer work your stomach muscles, cause mine hurt now.

They needed to take multipul blood samples.
Erm, not directly no because its predominantly a CV machine. How high was the resistance on it?

I guess it could have done.
I could get really technical here. You're probably suffering from the onset of DOMS (delayed onset of muscle soreness) that is caused by small tears in soft tissues such as muscles that occur due to excessive eccentric or isometric contractions.

Not necerserily (that word is impossible to spell). Muslces won't develop unless they are made to work above a level that they normally would (the principal of Overload) so in affect they will heal and become stronger.
But don't push so hard too often or you will cause some big damage which isn't good!

so you destroy muscles to make them? ummm a bit off
I've done my arm in using weights cause i used the arm which had all the injections in which was stupid, i just can't work out why my stomach muscles hurt so much, i never felt anything working if you know what i mean.

Yeh there's lots of things like that in sport. "You need to do this to get this, but do too much and it'll all go wrong"
They would have been whats known as the synergist, which is bastically your muscle that supports the working muscles movement. On the cross trainer they would have been working to keep you upright.

Just in need of a bit of rest, they'll heal themselves!
Worst thats happened to me was getting cramp in both legs in a footbll game, i just crumpled to a heap on the floor! Was so painful to walk the next day!

Erm...yeh he is!
They have nothing to do with how quickly the blood can transport waist products from the muscles! Will kinda keep them warm though so it reduces chances of stretches + pulls etc.
The main reason behind them is more 'holding everything together' as you run really. Sorry, not the nicest of images!

Ummm still hurts today, honestly think i must have done something to them can't even laugh without it hurting, on pain no gain i guess.
As far as the shorts go, i will go with the pull theory rather than think about anything else.
