mmm.... I'll show this to him cause I really don't understand what it is I've asked him repeatedly to teach me but he has never done it Another song which he finds hard to play is Save us and also Uptight Save us ? I always thought it was one of the easiest songs to play

They're all pretty darn easy, which is the secret of a brilliant songwriter!
As for riffs, well if you can Drop D it, it's extremely easy for some songs, since you don't even need to do a proper power chord, just mash your fingers down. ie, Stereo World riff being extremely easy, Insomnia as well. Oh Bullet as well.
Even if you don't like the song, the guitar riff of Tangerine is my favourite Feeder riff to play, best Feeder guitar moment in my opinion : D
Main riff from Rush is extremely simple (Grants favourite to play on guitar as of 1998)
For chords, Forget About Tomorrow (mainly the verse) is about as easy as it gets maybe, just need to move one finger about for the verse, you know something simple just so you know it sounds right.
Here In The Bubbles brilliant, though i'm usually too lazy to tune down for it, though for a short time I kept a spare acoustic in the tuning : D

You can find some tabs in the net , but all of them are crap, so it's better to figure the songs yourself . A good song for playing is oxygen, not quite difficult. Another pretty song for playing is jtwif, but if you're a novice maybe you've got problems at doing its chords. Personally, I love to play Burn the Bridges (with guitar or bass, i've no preferences

Well you don't know who makes the tabs so you can't really tell it Sometimes I've found very unaccurate lyrics for example

Unsure about the quality of tabs, look HEREThe tabs are rated out of 5 for quality, and this site has one of the biggest collections of Feeder tabs on the net. Check it out, really helped me to learn guitar.

If you've just started practicing on guitar I suggest you to start with the acoustic songs. Like Heads, Swim, or 20th Century Trip. With these songs you can learn how to play a C, D, F, G, or Em chords. Later on when you buy a capo you'll be able to play other acoustic songs, like, Rain or Home For Summer... Grant uses very simple chords. I started the same way, many years ago... nice memories Good luck! and by the way, the tabs of Alex Ball's are the best.

A lot of people has said that, but start with Buck Rogers, it's very simple and it sounds great (try to find a good tab for it, but it's difficult. I suggest you to watch a Buck Rogers live video and try to figure which chords Grant does in every moment of the song). Take a look to Heads Held High, there's a tab in ultimate-guitar, i'm not sure if it's the correct way for playing it, but it sounds good. Like I said before, I think that a lot of tabs from those websites (ultimate-guitar, mxtabs, etc) aren't the correct way for playing the songs, but sometimes you've got no choice and you have to use them.

My favourite Feeder guitar riffs/progressions are: (i'll try put it down to 10)
Can't Dance To Disco (main riff) - omg what a genious piece of guitar, so original Tangerine (main riff) - best intro to any Feeder song, a tad ahead of Disco TV Me (main riff) - pure pop energy Crash (main riff) - great hard hitting progression if played properly, all internet tabs are useless at this last time I remember though. Sweet 16 (main riff/verse) - super simple yet super effective, the rawness and chunkyness you get live, (particularly hear it when Grant misses out verse 3 live) is amazing Purple (main riff) - very heavy and chunky, like Standing On The Edge and Shade mixed together Slowburn - (just everything guitar wise is perfect here) Moonshine - a hundred and one different guitar layers going on here, just sublime altogether High - the way he used to play the main riff (similar to live version and US alternate version) Crashmat - great rythm to the intro/chorus progression
to many gems to list, those are some of my favies though. Some of the heavier riffs like Honeyfuzz, Bad Hair Day, Spill are so simple, but brilliantly effective!

I've missed playing the guitar. I really damaged my hand a few years back and only have just recovered now. I may have funny looking ears, but they're god send for figuring out guitar parts.
Sonorous Capo at 5th Fret
Intro - Start at the 12th fret with the A minor chord
A minor E Major F Major C Major B/C Major
