Don't you just hate it when people look down on Feeder? You know when they've only heard Buck Rogers and JAD and they think there's nothing more to them? Like today I was playing Crash on my phone and as the chorus kicked in I held the phone to this guys head from my music course and he was like so who is this again, I say it's Feeder, he looks at me in dismay, laughs and says 'Feeder, they're shit' then proceeds to play the grindcore music on his phone and says now this is real music. Only the other day when I was talking about Ash he said they were the lamest band he ever heard. Now maybe if he'd heard more than just the one Ash song and actually understood what they're all about then maybe he would have realized that they, like Feeder, are really good!
Ignorance. It pisses me off. There I said it.

is it really ignorance or is it just that his individual taste in music being different to yours meaning he doesn't want to further investigate the bands you like, possibly just like you don't want to investigate the music he likes?!
it's no big deal ... everyone is different

Don't you just hate it when people look down on Feeder? I do. But sadly I can't force people to like the music I like I wish many would just recognise they are a talented band. It goes a bit over the indivdual tastes in my opinion, really. I don't like so much Smashing Pumpkins for example, but I think they are a fantastic band anyway

Each to their own in that regard. I wish many would just recognise they are a talented band. It goes a bit over the indivdual tastes in my opinion, really. Yes this is what I mean. I just want people to recognize bands for their talent, not write them off based on one or two songs they heard from them. It just seems everywhere I go no one has heard any Feeder songs beyond the commercial singles like Buck Rogers and then they wonder why I talk like Feeder are the best band ever. What I'm basically trying to say is don't judge a book by its cover.
