It's a shame the Lincoln gig has been cancelled - I was hoping for a preview of Wrexham on Monday to decide whether to book for a second gig. I'm not as disappointed as the people who were going of course, and even the side roads seem to have cleared today.
Anyway - fingers crossed for some lesser-played classics!

Part of me is hoping they vary it up a bit each night as it'd be exciting, but the other part of me would be bitter if they did that as I've seen them churn out the same songs again and again for so long... and also I'd be really upset if they played songs I particularly wanted to see on a different night!

I just did some back-of-the-envelope calculations while my tea brews. Here’s the 2-CD version of the ‘Best Of’, divided into three categories. There are: - songs I reckon they’ll definitely play – these are the big guns: the songs they might feel duty-bound to play for a ‘Best Of’ audience
- songs they might play – based on 20 years of gigs and hints Grant’s dropped in interviews
- songs they’ll never play – based on how quickly they were dropped after the respective album tour or that Grant might struggle to sing
What do you think? PolytheneYes: High Maybe: Crash, Cement, Stereo World, My Perfect Day [not on the 'Best Of', but Grant's mentioned it a few times] No: Suffocate Yesterday Went Too SoonYes: Insomnia Maybe: Yesterday Went Too Soon No: Day In Day Out, Paperfaces Echo ParkYes: Just a Day, Buck Rogers, Seven Days in the Sun Maybe: Turn No: Piece by Piece Comfort in SoundYes: Come Back Around, Just the Way I'm Feeling Maybe: Forget about Tomorrow, Comfort in Sound No: Find the Colour Pushing the SensesYes: Feeling a Moment Maybe: Tender, Pushing the Senses, Tumble and Fall No: - The SinglesYes: - Maybe: Lost & Found, Shatter No: Save Us Silent CryYes: - Maybe: We Are the People, Silent Cry No: - RenegadesYes: Renegades Maybe: Down to the River No: - Generation FreakshowYes: Borders Maybe: Idaho, Children of the Sun No: - All Bright ElectricYes: Eskimo, Universe of Life Maybe: - No: Paperweight, Another Day on Earth ArrowYes: Figure You Out Maybe: Veins, Walk Away No: Bees This assumes the set is drawn only from the ‘Best Of’, with the exception of 'My Perfect Day'. But I think that’s likely. I found it clarifying to realise, ‘Oh if they play anything from Silent Cry it’ll be ‘We Are The People’ and/or the title track. My concern is that about 13 songs look like they’re a given. Assuming that the set is around 18 songs, there’s little wiggle room.

I'd add a few more to some "Maybes".
We got acoustic Cement and Forget About Tomorrow with Grant and Tommy on Facebook last night so I'm especially hoping for Cement on the tour. Forget About Tomorrow sounded sublime acoustically - Grant again said an acoustic album is possible. A Silent Cry track is long overdue and Grant does seem to be fond of that album - that plus the constant mentions of it by fans on social media makes me think we'll get a track from it (though it's not one of my favourite albums). I hope for the title track, which is one of my favourites.
I might be disappointed if I miss particular songs @gladas (like the last tour when I missed Turn at two gigs, even though Grant mentioned it at one of the gigs I was at). It'd give me more hope for the future and I'd probably go to multiple gigs again (which I still hope to on this one, assuming they're not sold out).

/END SPOILERS
The lowlight was Just A Day which seemed far too loud as it was all distorted. Come on Polythene tour.

That's a really nice selection of lesser-played songs - enough to make the tour a bit different but not too many to miss out the biggies.
I wonder whether they'll stick with those ones for every date or mix it up...
Also, that acoustic Forget About Tomorrow was amazing!

CHANGES IN THE SETLIST ! YIIHAA ! Honestly I didn't think they would change the setlist as much as they did, that's really a nice surprise! And I really like the fact that they played at least one song of each album (or nearly)! It would be even greater if there were more changes in the rest of the tour, but that's already great. Here's the full set for those who want to see it : www.setlist.fm/setlist/feeder/2018/william-aston-hall-wrexham-wales-73ef9211.html

Awesome setlist! Amazing that they're changing up the setlist a bit finally! Really cannot wait until the Bristol gig tomorrow.

Great Setlist! Slightly disappointing to see Shatter and Turn go back out so quickly but you can't have everything. Really happy with the five rarities. Also Feeder sets tend to grow throughout a tour. They ended up playing 22 songs on the last one, so room for three more...

Figure You Out sounded great too. The video backdrops were really good too, with a lot of artwork from past releases. The video during MPD was cool. I hope someone manages to get video of Piece by Piece! I videoed a bit. You can hear the chatterers too much, but I'll post it if no one else posts the song.

It seems that there was also another choice with Yesterday Went Too Soon, too bad we can't see it on the picture.

Just got home from the he bristol gig - more setlist spoilers:
My Perfect Day Acoustic Silent Cry and Children Of The Sun Cement (Mainly because a few of us shouted for it! It wasn’t on the setlist) Stereo World YWTS
Gutted we didn’t get Piece By Piece. It was a shout vote between Piece By Piece and Tender. Nothing wrong with Tender but Ive seen it live a lot of times so was a bit gutted to be honest.
However acoustic Children of the sun was awesome. And great that Grant is finally mixing up the setlist!
I managed to nab Grant’s setlist so I’ll post a photo of that tomorrow

No idea why the thumbnail is showing it as sideways, but if you click on it it rotates the correct way.
Setlist was:
My Perfect Day Insomnia Universe of Life Renegades Feeling a Moment Pushing the Senses Lost & Found High Figure You Out Tender (won a "cheering vote" over Piece By Piece which I'm still a bit gutted about! Setlist also shows Another Day On Earth as an option, but that wasn't part of the vote!) Silent Cry Children of The Sun Eskimo Come Back Around Cement (In place of Borders/Stereo World - a few of us at the front shouted for it during a break and Grant did another "cheering" vote between Cement and Borders. After Piece By Piece lost out I didn't hold back this time!) Stereo World (Setlist shows Down To The River/Stereo World, but there wasn't a vote for this one) Just The Way I'm Feeling Buck Rogers
Yesterday Went Too Soon (As opposed to Tender) Seven Days In The Sun (Opposed to Turn - glad I managed to catch Turn live last year!) Just A Day

Didn't realise forums still exist - thought it was nearly all Twitter, Facebook etc these days. Personally I prefer a good ole type forum. Saw Feeder last year at Victorious in Portsmouth - beautiful day. Going to see them at Brixton on 17th. First gig of theirs I ever saw was them supporting Stereophonics in 2001. Just been to see Stereophonics again but unfortunately have lost money on 1 of their gigs at Wembley due to snow. It better not snow again this March!
Get fed up how gig goers are treated with regard to ticket purchases ie with regard to refunds. We ought to protest more perhaps. However, I shall still continue to see live music - Feeder are one of the best!

I hate it when Grant does his cheering votes as they nearly always go the wrong way as far as I'm concerned. I saw Sweet 16 miss out so many times in a 'cheering vote' until Grant finally stopped messing around and just played it, then it quickly became a set regular.
