So I'm a Feeder fan from the States. Suffice to say I'm psyched they're coming to the USA (I'm from New York, which is the show I'm going too.)
It's been 15 years since they were last here. So, excited doesn't begin to describe my feelings. Does anyone have ideas on why they don't come here often? You think they are lining this up to promote their next Album? Saw Grant talking in an interview about early 2019 for the new album? Maybe that's the reason. Either way, I can't wait for February 8.
Anyone know about the new album?

As I understand it the main reason Feeder don't tour abroad is the cost involved. They are not as big are they were and they don't think they would attract big enough crowds to make any money from it. Also as albums don't sell much these days taking a financial hit to make the money back on album sales doesn't work as a business model either. That said over the last few years they've rebuilt their UK audience and enthused by that they are now taking their show to Europe, China and now the US. This I guess is pretty much testing the water but if it works out you won't have to wait another 15 years for the next tour. Unless they release the new album before they tour the US or debut songs from it in the UK first, both of which seem unlikely, I would expect them to be playing pretty much the same set as they have being doing in China. See SetlistFM. You may, if you're lucky, see them chuck one newbie in but generally I would expect that we (in the UK) would get to hear the new stuff first Enjoy.

Interesting. Hate to see the US do this. That's absurd. I do know Grant comes to New York a lot though, as he has a producer friend in the suburbs of NYC (which is actually where I live). That's where part of Yorktown Heights (a real town here)was recorded.

These shows have Been cancelled for now. New dates have been arranged. Yeah, I got the news, but I'm still going to the show in May now. I've waited 15 years to see them, what's another 3 months? Lol. At least it will be nicer out at that time of year.

I live in the UK, but I'm thinking of flying to NYC to see them. It will be my 35th Feeder gig if I do.

Can't reschedule for May either, how annoying! I still get to go to New York, so I suppose I can't complain too much.

I just got back home from the Toronto gig.
First time seeing Feeder and it was great. Got to talk to Grant and Taka after as they came out to talk to fans that stuck around after at the venue. Got my pic taken with Grant, which was awesome. I was about 20 feet from the stage and had a great view the whole time.
Crowd size for the opener was probably around 75 to 100 people, my friend and I were worried they'd never come back again if it stayed that size. Luckily as Feeder came on stage the crowd had grown to probably around 175 to 250, which I think was a good showing considering they never made it over here. Actually as Grant said in the gig before he played High, the last time they played in Canada was in 1998. It filled up the floor, but with room to move around. The place I think fits 500 completely filled up.
Saw some people who made the gig that travelled from the UK, I guess it is hard to see Feeder over there in such a small venue where you'd actually get the chance to meet them.
The setlist I don't remember the order of the tracks, but here are the songs they played: Feeling A Moment High Insomnia Seven Days In The Sun Turn Come Back Around Just The Way I'm Feeling Pushing The Senses Lost & Found Renegades Universe Of Life Figure You Out Youth (yes the new song off Tallulah that Grant said they are releasing as a single next week, we were the first to hear it and it sounded phenomenal) Buck Rogers
Encore: Yesterday Went Too Soon Just A Day Breed
For people who are going to the next 3 gigs and for collectors. These gigs have an exclusive tour t-shirt. They are black shirts with Feeder in red on the front, with a big cute cat in front(Grant's cat Taka said), the cat/whiskers were designed or helped put on by Grant's daughter. Grant said they made 100 for this tour only, and that he was keeping 2 for himself, so 98 total for sale. It seems like by the merch line up that probably anywhere between 30 to 50 were sold in Toronto, so the 2nd date will have availability, but I have a feeling by the time they hit their 3rd and 4th dates, pickings will be slim. The back has a picture of the US with the tour dates on it.
As Grant joked sarcastically will probably become a collectors item that will be sold for tons of quid.
I will be keeping mine.
Those who are getting ready for the other gigs I hope you guys enjoy it. This was probably a once in a lifetime experience for me and it was worth every moment.
Thank you.

To be honest they went into hiding the moment the Best Of Tour left UK shores as these were left out of the European shows.
Hopefully they might surprise us come the UK Tour but I'm not expecting it. They'll need to make room for a few more tracks from the new album and I'm guessing Shatter and Turn will get the bullet as they were last to be added!

So after 16 long years, I finally got to see Feeder live in Brooklyn this Saturday. Simply put, it was well worth the wait for this US fan. They put on a great show from beginning to end. Finally got to pogo to “Buck Rogers.”
Not to much surprise, but most of the audience (at least those I interacted with) were ex UK/Ireland natives now living in the states. I met a few who now live in NYC, Cleveland and Atlanta. Shout out to you guys in case you are members here.
Got to meet Grant, Taka and Geoff and all were gracious and got pictures with all of them. Got to tell Grant I live like 15 minutes from Yorktown Heights and said he loves the suburbs of NYC. What was real cool was meeting Geoff at a bar in Brooklyn after the show.
As some has said, “Youth” will be coming out as a single soon and Geoff told methe video is done and will be out shortly as well. It’s a catchy tune and it sounds like another ode to the USA, with the chorus including the line, “California here we come.”
Lastly, I recorded three songs and was thinking of uploading them to YouTube, especially Fear of Flying since it’s new and there are not of live videos on there yet. However, the audio is really sub-par as it is muzzled and noisy and you cant hear the vocals well. Should I bother posting, yeah or nay?
Hope Feeder comes back around again (pun intended) and can’t wait for my Tallulah album to come.

A few videos from the US gigs have made their way to YouTube.
There’s Figure You Out (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cjqDQPCQtPI) and a bit of Buck Rogers (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vsBOIL4h5Xg).
I gotta say, Buck Rogers sounds a bit lacklustre 😐
