he must've told me the wrong number then, because he said it was ECS 157, which is correct for the Feeder vinyl. The I Am Kloot one is ECX 160.

It's pretty new! I just uploaded scans of my copy to the Anorak. It's the album version of UOL, not even an edit.

Hey folks, I'm just about to chuck a couple of rare-ish early tapes up for sale as I desperately need the cash. First up is the Echo four track tape with Chicken on a bone etc. It's mint condition for both the tape and inlay, only been played a couple of times. As you know there wasn't many of these sent out to begin with and I reckon only a handful are still about. I've no idea what they go for these days, any ideas? And if anyone wants to make me an offer before it goes up please feel free.

seems like someone just spent £140 on a CIS instrumentals promo I saw that - I noticed that the seller quickly went from £159 to £140 - looks like someone jumped on it before it got lowered again! Also seems that Feeder promo's are commanding quite a high price at the moment, as the Another Day On Earth/Paperweight promos have been going for over £30.... I guess only two have surfaced though (that I know of), hopefully some more appear at a price I can justify. I ended up missing out on the Eskimo promo because I was waiting for it to drop, but I haven't seen another one in months...

Yes, according to my sources, Cooking Vinyl are very much stricter on sending out promos ... not really sure why, 'cos it seems counter-intuitive to me! Surely the point of a promo is to get it "out there"??

Hmm - does seem a bit of an odd mentality. Possibly to stop people from profiting when they sell them on? But ironically people will make more from selling the promos if there are less of them.

By the way, I'm always astonished that physical promo are released, in this digital era.
