whats the deal with all the station closures and lack of service on saturday? god knows how many times i went to a station to change to either find it closed or that a certain line wasnt running from the station so id have to go back in the opposite direction , they could loike have a sign up at each of the stations listing which ones are closed and which ones dont have certain lines running from them

There's posters which have a greyed-out map of the Underground on it, and some coloured-in bits that show what's closed.

everyone seemed annoyed and surprised to find the lines closed so me thinks most people didnt know

It happens every weekend, it's when most of the engineering works take place so it makes sense to check it out before you go

I prefer the Glasgow Underground than London (I know this may sound biased but it is a much less unpleasant expierience) Its not as busy, is just one line so its simpler and is far less stressful and hectic
Although I am juding this despite the fact I've only been to London 3/4 times before but the Underground is by far the least pleasant memory ofeach time!!!

My mum likes it too, and she usually hates public transport. The only thing she's not keen on is the escalators. They go on forever.

They go on forever. did you see that video of that idiot skiing down the escalator at Angel? (I'm pretty sure he was skiing. I saw it a long time ago) Everyone knows that when you go down to the underground, you suffocate (har har)
