Peter Osgood King of Stamford Bridge died this afternoon age 59 can't believe how upset i am, i'm not old enough to remember him playing for Chelsea but the guy is a legend. deepest heartfelt sympathy to his family.

Martin Gilks, drummer of The Wonder Stuff and The Mighty Lemon Drops died in a motorcycle accident yesterday. He has also been manager of a few bands including A and Reef.

i read about that - very sad! also: Gene Pitney found dead in hotel American superstar Gene Pitney has been found dead aged 65 in his bed in a Cardiff hotel. Pitney - who found fame with Twenty Four Hours From Tulsa - was pronounced dead at the Hilton hotel at 1000 BST full story

i was absolutely devestated about Richard Burn's death, i didnt expect it, he told us all he was making progress, it just caught me by surprise, and the tribute that top gear did was fitting, my favourite rally driver, great man. yeah, being a big motorsport fan Richard Burns death was bad news, he was my rallying hero! all the tributes to him were excellent, he will certainly be remembered! the Richard Burns tirbute issue of Autosport is the only one i've kept.
