10 stingrays found dead on a beach with their tail cut... People did it as a revenge of Irwin's death. Those are the things which make me angry and sick.

that is not what steve irwin would have wanted to happen...its such a shame these animal extremists do this to innocent animals
its natural for sea animals to attack....its part of their nature and everyday life
steve irwin was enormously unlucky with the stingray incident
i share the same kind of anger with Elisa

Paul Hunter, the snooker player, aged 27 after a battle with cancer. He'd continued to play last season through his illness but had asked for a year out to recover this season. He leaves a wife and 1-year-old daughter...

Paul Hunter lost his battle with cancer today 3 time Masters champion aged 25... Died 5 days before his 28th birthday.. I'm by no means a snooker fan, but I know he'll be missed...

This is just so awful to hear. It's extremely sad because he was so young and to leave his wife and daughter too is just completely heart breaking. I do watch snooker and although he wasn't my favourite he certainly had balls to carry on playing the game he loved even when he was really too ill to do so. Good for him. My thoughts are with his family who have had such a tragic loss

the great thing about Paul hunter was his determination to carry on playing the sport he loved, this year, he took part in the china open tornament, and he had so much difficulty getting out of his own bed because of the illness, but he still managed to play the match, which he deservently won, which was the only match he won this year

It's so, so sad but he fought it as best he could and sadly in the end it beat him. Cancer is a horrible, horrible killer. I lost someone very close to me to cancer almost 11 years ago (in fact the Coronet gig which I'm going to will be the 11th anniversary). My mum also had breast cancer 5 years ago but looks like she's beaten that. Paul Hunter was a true inspiration to everyone

Cancer is a horrible, horrible killer. yes it really is. my 2 best friends just lost their uncle to stomach cancer after a battle for two years. and it'll be 4 years in january since my cousin's son died of rare a type of stomach cancer - he was just 14 he was diagnosed at easter, had chemo, had the all-clear in august, september it had spread to his spine and we lost him in jan. it still breaks my heart

Oh damn, I just read the Hunter part. I didn`t knew he was ill. Such a loss. I talked with my friends yesterday about the upcoming tournament, and we guessed who could make a good chance of winning, someone said Hunter. It is a strange world

we weren`t good informed you know, not much info will pass through to Holland when it comes to snooker. Only a small ad on eurosport showed us the upcoming tournament. That`s why we talked about it

the thing i'l remember about Paul is this story:
ill always remember his story when he nipped back to his hotel room before the final session of the masters tournament final, (which Im pretty sure he was behind in) for a swift restorative shag with his girlfriend before returning to win the tournament in some style!

The hotel?! Try the venue's toilets matey It's still a stupidly young age to be taken... It really is a tragedy

with the next tornament starting either this week or next week, i have serious doubts about the focus of the snooker players, i really dont think there should be any tornament until the players are focussed, but they will have no choice but to take part, just terrible heres a video tribute: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvL94_lZ5-Q
