So this is more of a rant on someone else's behalf... My gf bought a Leeds ticket off an eBay bloke a while back (June to be precise)...
This time last week, everyone else who was going had their tickets. She didn't. She emailed the bloke, and he said *he* didn't have it yet.
Another couple of days went by, he STILL doesn't have the ticket. (At this point, even the people who're going on the coaches have their tickets).
Saturday: STILL saying he doesn't have the ticket, and refuses to send us a confirmation email, saying he doesn't have one because he "ordered them on the phone"... Seeing only one way to get to Leeds, a second ticket is purchased (At face value... Which has since arrived).
Sunday: The guy is adamant he's ordered the ticket despite us seeing NO proof at all, and is now wanting us to go to MANCHESTER to pick it up if it arrives on Tuesday!?
Oh, and he's refusing us a refund. His reason? "The festival starts on Friday, you don't need your ticket til then". Which would probably be a semi decent excuse, but wait... IT TAKES MY GF SIX AND A HALF HOURS TO DRIVE THERE! So we're going on the Thursday, like the ticket states...
Fucking. Jackass. My gf is now STUPIDLY out of pocket. All because one person has said that he's not got his ticket, and is outright refusing to show us proof he bought it. (Which was stated in the auction he would)...
OK, so I've rung up seetickets and he's genuine... So I'm changing this into a rant about them Honestly... 3 days before a major music festival and they STILL haven't send out a shitload of the tickets?! We're gonna be lucky if this one arrives... It needs to go to the ebay guy and THEN onto my gf... Pain in the jacksie.

They're not exactly the most "together" of ticket agencies, are they? We've had troubles with them over these sodding Reading tickets, hassle we could've well done without

Aaaand things look like they're sorted now... Kinda.
The guy who bought the ticket received it this morning, so he's sent it on using Special Delivery, so it *SHOULD* arrive at my gf's tomorrow, at which point she'll be giving it to my friend for the face value (As she's now got 2)...
That's supposedly anyway...

Ended up getting 2 tickets, but the guy who wanted it originally turned it down on Thursday morning, so we had a frantic time trying to get rid of it... Had 2 or 3 close calls, but no luck. Ended up selling the full weekend ticket for £50 on Friday morning before the bands to a tout

Wait how much was it worth again ? Sorry I'm very tired.
But remember everything happens for a reason. Maybe it was better you sold it to that tout for £50 then the next tout with the knife?

We had extra tickets for Friday and Sunday. A tout offered us £20 for the lot. They just couldn't sell them.

i recommend trying to buy tickets off them at lunchtime on the first day, see what price the tout offers. try and haggle them down and see what you get

I'm updating this rant.
Tenacious D gig in 2 weeks. Tickets are "in hand and will be despatched shortly"
Now... Forgive me if I'm wrong, but SURELY the point in me paying £5 in 'service charges' was in order for them to get the tickets sent out as soon as possible?!
Absolute bandits. They're going out with the Xmas rush, and the only place I trust them to go to is my home address, which means they'll have to arrive well before the gig if I'm to actually get them. Bear in mind they were booked in the first week of September.
Absolute fucking tossers.

This is getting a bump.
They really are a bunch of fucking useless tossing cuntbags aren't they?! (Excuse the language, I'm exceptionally angry)
I got 2 emails yesterday. The first was to say that my ticket had been despatched (whey!), and the second (later on in the evening) to inform us that they've fucked up YET AGAIN and printed THE WRONG DATES on all the tickets!!! So next Thursday morning, no doubt there'll be some jumped up gorilla in a yellow T shirt telling me "Nah mate, tikkit sez friiiiday, today fursday!" Whilst I'm waving my email in his face explaining that it's Seetickets' fault...
Seriously... Why do Mean Fiddler insist on having this piss-poor excuse for a ticket company as their main outlet for their events?! It's gotten closer and closer to the festival over the past few years when I've received my tickets... I leave next Wednesday... If I'd been on holiday, I'd have been screwed. (And yes, the 'tickets in hand and despatched shortly' status was being shown all last week)...
Absolute fucking tossers.

Heh, time for the annual "Seetickets are wank" bump Oasis... Probably the biggest band the UK's produced in a fair while. Seetickets... Probably the most useless servers of any ticket site on the web. Combine the two, especially when it appears to be seetickets or "theticketfactory" (Which looks like it's been designed by a 2 year old on speed) selling Brum tickets and nowhere else, and you get some VERY disgruntled people. For the past half hour Seetickets has basically been going "AAAAARGH! STOP HURTING ME!" I finally got through to the order page and got "This site is busy. Don't use it. Please." And theticketfactory's home page comes up with a message saying "Your order is being processed"... Honestly? I've not placed an order yet. Talk about a placeholder!
