Also, I've been playing a little bit of Mario Kart this week, and have come to the conclusion that Formula 1 could definitely benefit from the introduction of both red and green shells (not the blue ones mind, they p*ss me right off)

I'm sure Bernie will do the right thing. Although today he said that the FIA wouldn't push through any "knee-jerk" rule changes after the overwhelmingly negative response from Sunday's abysmal race. I'm not sure if he was referring to the introduction of red and green shells though, or just the unbanning of re-fuelling...

Well that was better then...
Qualifying positions amounting to nothing, half-a-dozen or so crashes, overtaking left right and centre, Button winning after a genius pit-stop call and Hamilton losing his rag over the team radio with two laps to go.
One of the most entertaining F1 races I've seen in years.

I agree 100% - I was worried that it was going to end up a procession again like Bahrain, but instead it was brilliant! Loads of overtaking and crashes, and I have to admit I stood up and cheered when Vettel had his journey off into the gravel trap! Much better race than 2 weeks ago - hopefully a sign of what's to come later in the season!

I was especially chuffed for Button - lots of people thought he'd be second fiddle to Hamilton, but he proved them wrong.
Hamilton really trashed his tyres - even his third set, whereas Button could have gone the entire race on the same set of tyres, so it looks like the re-fuelling ban will suit Button's racing style far better than it will Hamiltons.

Buemi was lucky the front of the car didn't dig into the ground and flip over. It was mental though - one minute everything was normal, the next the wheels had literally blown off the car.

It was like something from a TV show, as if there was a charge on the wheels and then just "boom!"

Well that was a bit dull. Aside from the Hamilton crash, which was just plain annoying. Does anyone else not like Vettel?

I really like Vettel, there's definitely something about him for me. Todays race was terrible (looks like if it doesn't rain F1 can't put on a decent show now they've taken all the fuelling strategies out of it) but I did enjoy listening to the Red Bull team doing their nut over Vettel's inability to slow down when his brakes were about to blow up.

I'm not keen on Vettel.......I'd rather Webber wins over Vettel so although it was painful to see Hamilton suffer that puncture on the penultimate lap, I'm glad it wasn't Vettel who won.

I don't know, there's just something about Vettel that I don't like, and I can't quite put my finger on it... Glad to see Webber win though - still one of my favourite drivers

I like Mark Webber too.
Martin Brundle said of his pit walks in an article during the summer that there are certain drivers he won't even attempt to talk to before a race (Lewis Hamilton), but that Mark Webber frequently insists that he doesn't interview him enough, and should in fact make him his first port of call every week on the grid. Top bloke!

Does anyone listen to David Croft and Anthony Davidson (who do Radio 5 Live coverage) on the red button (Sky TV).
Their efforts need broadcasting on live tv.
