I heard the album a while ago thanks to a friend with a promo, now I have got hold of my own The whole album is pretty solid, minus a few cringey lyrics in Idaho, it is probably the most consistent Feeder so far The outro to the album is one of my favourite endings of all time, probably second to Idlewild's Make Another World album.

Idaho, which I was hoping would be the albums strong point, is probably a weaker moment.
The riff is pure excellence...but like Tommy says, the lyrics =\.
Sunrise is probably the best song. It's quintessential Feeder.

One of my favourite Idlewild songs. The outro to this album is defo up there with it. Also agree that Sunrise is the best song on the album... I think. I love Oh My and Generation Freakshow too, but Sunrise somehow feels a bit more powerful and weighty, if that makes sense. It wouldn't make a good single because it's not as 'instant' as some songs but it definitley has power and longevity behind it.

Finished it Remains is just amazing, but my very favourite Idlewild song is Once in your life. The two songs together close the album so well, one of my favourite albums of all time. I think Sunrise would make a good single, it was the song that stuck out for me on first listen

And now you can pre-order the new album on LPNo great issue on this as a later announcement, because this is clearly a collectors only product. Glad to see there's no "free" track "incentive" to pre order this either. If you want it for your collection, then you can order it ... otherwise, no need to buy ... As a collector, I've ordered ... so that makes five times I'll have this album now ... soon to be six, when I make an order from HMV Japan for the album and the Renegades album too. Deary me ... I think I have a problem

Good news on the Vinyl front!, How many are gonna be pressed?!. No idea ... I'm guessing 500 ... as I don't think they'll want the risk of maintaining huge stocks ...

Made a swift purchase earlier. Like Pete purely for collection purposes, doubt it'll even see a play, a bit like my Borders tape after my stereo tried nibbiling the first one! Pete, you couldn't send me a link to the Japan versions could you? I struggle to find them, I don't understand the symbols

Got the vinyl version as well, so I guess that Pete is not the only mad guy here I'm loving "Oh my" so much at the moment. Those lyrics, that melody... they're now stuck in my head forever! Funny thing is that it was the one I liked the least from the live videos

Had the chance to listen to GF today!!! It’s a great album and like Grant says quite an eclectic one. Love Quiet, Oh My and Headstrong.
Was worried about listen to another album like Renegades but this is on another planet. Really hope they’ll have many other albums like this to offer us, but if this is going to be their last one the guys have found the best way to leave their fans.

I actually think this could be my favourite Feeder album yet and I agree with Pete in that the more I listen the better it gets. It's a masterpiece for sure and definitely worth the wait! Defo agree with this. After a few weeks of listening (practically on repeat) I *want* to say it's their best album. I don't think it quite beats Yesterday Went Too Soon, but the more I listen the more I love it. Definitley a VERY good album and at least their best since CIS. It's just consistently great.

does anyone know were i can buy Miles Away because its not on the Australian iTunes store can i buy the song on it own on the UK iTunes store (because a mate of mine can but it for me on UK iTunes store) At the moment, "Miles Away" is only available as a complete album pre-order. Quite what will happen on 23rd April, who knows ... On the one hand, since I've spent and additional £8 to buy the album on iTunes just to get that track, I want it to remain an album exclusive. BUT, on the other hand, I want as many fans as possible to hear the track (I presume it's good?!) and therefore it'd be nice if it was available individually. The ideal situation would be for it to be album only BUT we get news of a forthcoming release capturing all exclusive b-sides, be that Japanese (an EP, preferably), or an internationally available download only ... Sure, I'll continue to be annoyed that I've had to spend the best part of £30 to get all 14 album tracks ... but at least I'll get proper CD versions of ALL of the bonus tracks, including those from cassette and vinyl, which will make the pill slightly easier to swallow.
