After all this I am hoping for POPY 2 after the GF campaign. Even if it was download & vinyl only. Plenty of material for it now .

Hmm ... whilst I'd like that too, I wonder if there will be an issue with the split ownership of tracks between Chrysalis and Big Teeth?! Also, we might now have too many tracks to fit on one double CD compilation. By my reckoning, we have 38 b-sides from official Feeder releases that weren't on POPY. Plus, you could argue for a further 8 tracks (Beautiful Boy, Blockheads, Everybody Hurts, Everybody Hurts (Band Version), Miles Away, No Light, Public Image and Ya Don't See The Signs (Grant Nicholas Remix)) that could be included too!! So, what we need is a catch all box set *living in dreamland*

anyone know why GF is on itunes store twice Not sure what you see in Australia, but there are two versions on the UK iTunes too ... the only difference being "Miles Away" and the fact that "Tiny Minds" can be bought already. The only time I've seen this before was with The Feeling and it meant that as soon as release date hit, the version with the extra track ("You've Got Big Eyes") disappeared.

Now I'm nervous about my plan to wait until release - thought the wording made it sound like Miles Away required the purchase of the whole album (again!!!) but not a pre-order. Hmmm.

So... turns out I might have already pre-ordered the iTunes version and forgotten about it. Y'know, since I have a receipt for Tiny Minds in my inbox...
Is the Tiny Minds instant download version of the album the one of the 2 on iTunes with Miles Away? Or is it a Tiny Minds now/Miles Away eventually choice?

Is the Tiny Minds instant download version of the album the one of the 2 on iTunes with Miles Away? yes it is ... although, you could've just bought "Tiny Minds" individually. If you log in to your iTunes account and go to Manager Pre-Orders you should see there whether you pre-ordered the whole album or not.

Thanks for the info!
No pre-order, it seems. So we're back to the dilemma.

InMe had no end of problems in releasing old tracks, even live versions after they were dropped from their old label . Remember I said it could be download only. Like 40 tracks on it or something. But hey, a box set would be even better. One like Reef's would be just about ok .

I went to the 2nd of their Metropolis Studios gigs to promote that and got it signed. An amazing show and an amazing product. I have an idea in my head for what a Feeder one could include ... maybe I should post it somewhere?

I have an idea in my head for what a Feeder one could include ... Blemish I'm sure they have plenty of unreleased stuff to throw in there, I bet it would be enough to fill 4 medium length albums. Of course this is true if you consider everything they've done in the past, I'm sure that few of that material hasn't been lost / has survived to these days, so maybe you could fill a couple of albums with it.

I'm gonna join the box set dream here; How amazing if they could make an expensive limited edition box set with photographs and re-prints of old flyers and maybe some vinyl - like a little walk through their time with various bits n pieces, a bit like a shoebox of collected stuff aha!.....*wakes up, never gonna happen* I really would love to see some sort of 'collection', it would be fab!

A box set would be pretty amazing. I'd suggest it comes with a hardback book full of photographs, artwork, flyers, setlists and other great imagery covering each album campaign. Maybe for Feeder's 20th Anniversary in a few years time?

Isn't Feeder's 20th Anniversary this year?
Or do we count from Two Colours' release date?

It's all a bit muddy. Do we count when the band got together? Two colours release?
I think the only sensible thing is to celebrate the anniversary of album releases, in which case it's still a few years till Polythene is 20

I would love to see Feeder to some of those 'album in full' gigs. It'll never happen though- Grant went to the Ash 1977 gig and said it was 'weird'. If they did do one I suppose Echo Park would be the obvious choice, with it being the commercial breakthrough.

Feeder should do the same but for 4 nights. It was epic.

It was indeed ... you seemed to be enjoying yourself at those gigs, from what I recall. Being old, I stayed near the back I can't see Feeder doing this though ... sadly ...
