Exactly this. Idlewild did this a few years back, two albums a night for 3 nights. Feeder should do the same but for 4 nights. It was epic. It was indeed ... you seemed to be enjoying yourself at those gigs, from what I recall. Being old, I stayed near the back I can't see Feeder doing this though ... sadly ... Some of the best gigs I've ever been to. If Feeder did this my life would be complete haha. I agree though, it's never gonna happen.

The charm of the Ash 'Free All Angels' gigs last years was the fact it was the original lineup.
I can't help but think it would be a bit weird seeing a full album like YWTS being played without Jon on the drums. I imagine it would feel very weird for G&T too

British Sea Power played their debut in full on Friday night. It's the first time I've seen an album played in order, it was a bit strange but hugely satisfying. They're doing their second album next (at the request of fans) and have already played their most recent album and EP (but not in order). I'd LOVE Feeder to do Polythene and YWTS. I reckon they could easily sell 600 tickets for a one-off gig, but whether that's commercially viable or not to them...

Not sure ticket sales is the issue ... I think the issue is that Grant won't want to do it ...

I would love to see Feeder to some of those 'album in full' gigs. It'll never happen though- Grant went to the Ash 1977 gig and said it was 'weird'. If they did do one I suppose Echo Park would be the obvious choice, with it being the commercial breakthrough. They could do two albums in one show - Idlewild did it a short while back. I can't see it being particularly practical for Feeder though, given that they'd need a drummer to learn lots of songs in a short space of time! EDIT: yeah sorry, should have read the rest first!

I'm not a great fan of 'album in full' gigs. I've been to quite a few and it makes you realise that some tracks either simply aren't that good or just don't suit being played live.
Of course I'd be there like a shot but I'd be happy if they simply rotated what they played in their existing sets, played some older singles and a few album tracks. Surprise us. I like surprises!

yonks ago hell is for heroes played the whole of neon handshake as an encore, making the set 2 hours long or so. most of the crowd already knew what was going to happen, but change when people who'd realised that no neon handshake material was being played suddenly heard the intro to five kids go.... almost better than the gig itself.

I'd have so jizzed. 'Neon Handshake' is one of my fave albums of all time.

Finally got my hands on a promo. I think Quiet is going to be one of my favourite ever Feeder songs. Absolutely beautiful!

If you've got a Windows Phone and a premium (paid) account to Deezer.com, the album can be listen, due to a bug in their app.
The album is really a great one. Quiet is really good, as Headstrong (surprising song with a non-standard Feeder riff for intro), Idaho, Hey Johnny, In all honesty.

Absolutely beautiful! as you're selling it (assuming your ebay Id is the same as you id here) I'm going to assume you've not made an illegal copy for yourself? The timeframe works out perfectly. I'm not fussed about owning a promo copy of the album, I just wanted to have it to listen to as I start writing my dissertation, and the six days that I get to listen to it works out that way. I'll then get my (signed, I think? I lose track...) copy of the album a few days later! I paid £20 for the promo copy (next day postage added on a fair bit) so I decided to put the BIN price as £15. In my head, the 5 days that I get to listen to the album was worth the £5 or so loss that I'll make!

I was able to listen to a 2:54 release on there a few weeks before it came out though - it seems they need to sort out their software!

Just found a vid on Youtube with short snippets of all 12 tracks.
I've only heard 20 seconds of Quiet and I'm in love. It's... beautiful....

I listened to that video several times, shame about the poor quality. It doesn't do the tracks justice either! I didn't like Oh My based on that clip, but as soon as I put the album in I really liked it. Also, the best thing about Quiet is the outro...
