I'm reading The Last Pleasure Garden by Lee Jackson Finished...quite enjoyable but not my favourite of his. found it in kingston library so i've resad it now, and ditto, good but not his best. currently reading 'innocent traitor' by alison weir, historical novel about Lady Jane Grey in a bit of a tudor historical novel phase at the moment, partly ''cos its 500 years since henry 8th crowned, so we're big on that at work at the mo.

Good, but not one of her best. Also read The Dare by John Boyne yesterday...also good but a bit too much of a "quick read", could have been a little longer. Now reading The Information Officer by Mark Mills

Now reading The Information Officer by Mark Mills i thought that was very good, possibly better than savage garden currently reading 'all quiet on the western front' by Erich Maria Remarque. excellant and i read the new lisa jewell 'the truth about melody browne' yesterday, chick lit but good chick lit, very enjoyable.

watch film after book i've finished the lotr trilogy - hoorah! i do so love it. now reading a random something i saw at work that looked interesting so picked it up. its a non-fic called "Captivated : J.M. Barrie, the du Mauriers and the dark side of Neverland" - didn't realise that Daphne Du Maurier (who wrote rebecca) was linked to JM Barrie - her cousins were the boys he 'adopted' after their mother died, and she also called him Uncle Jim. only a few pages in so far but it makes for interesting reading.
