Sourse Code the other week. I have to admit, I like Duncon Jones work. Moon was brilliant to.

That's Duncan Jones' new film? Damnit, I hope there's still time to see it at the cinema...

I watched 127 hours on the flight out and thought it was a really good film. The bit where he cuts his arm off wasn't as gory as I thought it was going to be but I thought it was acted brilliantly. It's actually made me want to read the book about the guy (can't remember his name!).

Monsters..rubbish. Keep watching rubbish films at the moment...got Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest to watch later, will hopefully buck the trend .

Aww, I'm really looking forward to watching Monsters tonight... Aware there's no budget to it and the whole point of it is that there aren't many examples of "monsters" in the film, but I've heard nowt but positive reviews... Ah well, will give it a look

Ah well, will give it a look Yeah I wasn't expecting Battle Of Los Angeles or anything, I just found it really, really dull and a bit pointless. I mean you have to respect the director for all he did with such a small budget, but I didn't find it an enjoyable watch at all.

I'm looking forward to seeing Monsters at some point.
Films I've seen recently: Source Code - good stuff. Duncan Jones could be my new favourite director if his next equals Moon or this. Route Irish - grim, but good - a much better Iraq war film than The Hurt Locker. I was surprised to see John Bishop with a serious role in it. The First Day of the Rest of Your Life - most excellent. How to Train Your Dragon - not as good as I expected but still pretty good.

Grown Ups - easy to watch, not laugh out loud funny, but it was amusing

Insidious - Best horror I've seen in awhile, really creepy stuff.
Year One - Worst film I've seen in awhile, really terrible stuff.

I realised I posted the same thing twice last time I did this, My bad =/
Watched the Prestige. Brilliant film, even if I found the ending a bit odd due to losing interest/being tired by the end of the film. - Really starting to like Nolan's work a great deal.

Get him to the Greek - alright, had a few good laughs, and one that caused me to shoot water from my nose based around Lars Ulrich.

Inception - a bit different to what I was expecting and I got a little lost at times but still thought it was a good film.

Attack The Block - DEFINITELY not what I was expecting, as it's been promoted as the "New Shaun of the Dead"... It's not funny enough to be a comedy, but it's still very good and well worth a watch

Just saw Attack the Block too - I thought it was alright, just got kinda annoyed by the main character though.

I saw Thor in 3D at the Odeon on Leicester Square. I thought it was brilliant. Looking forward to the new X-Men film next I think as I've heard good things about that. Was thinking about the new Pirates film but I've heard more negative/neutral than positive reviews.
