I saw Thor, it was ok...setting up The Avengers nicely without being a spectactular standalone film.
Also saw The Road last night....properly depressing, but well made and well acted.

Saw X-Men first class last night, cracking film! Wasn't expecting much but there's some really nice nods to the later films

Was thinking about the new Pirates film but I've heard more negative/neutral than positive reviews. I thought it was decent, though not a patch on the first two.

Saw X-Men first class last night, cracking film! Wasn't expecting much but there's some really nice nods to the later films I'm intrigued...had given up on the franchise after X-Men 3 and the Wolverine film, but I've only heard good reviews!

X-Men 3 was really rubbish, which was a shame because I enjoyed the first 2.
Wolverine film was alright, but the spiralling quality put me off seeing this new one until it comes out on DVD.
I watched Three Kings the other night - first time I've ever seen it. Awesome film!

I hated Wolverine, mainly because they absolutely ruined Deadpool.
Saw Book Of Eli last night, which was ok...

V for Vendetta - heard of it but didn't know what it was about. A bit weird at times....

I hated Wolverine, mainly because they absolutely ruined Deadpool. This is why I choose not to watch it, because a few of my friends were mortified by how they portrayed Deadpool. The last film I watched was Definitely, Maybe.

X-Men First Class - not as amazing as I thought it was going to be but still a good film. I actually preferred Thor.
Want to try and see Senna next...

Sex & Drugs & Rock 'n' Roll - Was alright, seemed to be a good bio of Ian Drury. Andy Serkis on top form.
Black Swan - Was like WTF? throughout the whole thing. Really bizarre film. Didn't actually enjoy it until it ended, then when thinking back about it and making sense of what was real and what not, realised it was actually an alright film.

True Grit - Awesome! Found it hard to understand Bridges at times but I guess that was the point, since he was sozzled pretty much all the way through it.Well enjoyed it, possibly because recently I've been obsessed with Red Dead Redemption on Xbox360.

Inglorious Basterds - what a long film!!! It wasn't bad actually, I was just so tired, I really wanted to close my eyes and listen to the film but because they kept the French and German language I had to stay awake to read the subtitles and even then I couldn't actually read them quick enough!

I took my eldest to see Cars 2 this week.
Wasn't as bad as the critics have been saying, or at least I didn't think so, althoug Mater is a bit annoying and the whole film was centered around him.

I hated the first Cars so definitively won't be bothering with this one..of all the Pixar films to make a sequel for and they picked the worst one!
Anyway, recently watched the last Harry Potter, which was brilliant. Also watched Gamer, which wasn't great but was a good Friday night film that didn't require you to think much. And 127 Hours, which was disappointing...it was well made, but the story isn't there. It didn't really work as a film, would've been better as a documentary.

I thought the original Cars looked crap when I saw the trailer, but loved it when I eventually saw it.
Recently I've seen: The Closet - hilarious French film about a guy who overhears he's about to be sacked, so pretends to be gay. Captain America - good stuff.

How was Captain America? Want to see it! And Inbetweeners of course!
Recently I've seen loads 'cos I've been ill.
Narnia: Voyage Of The Dawn Treader:- Not great but they're easy films to watch. Pursuit Of Happyness:- Quite intense at times, but uplifting too. Will Smith is great in it. Burke & Hare:- Pretty funny, Bill Bailey's cameo was awesome! Your Highness:- Not brilliant to be fair. Funny bits are in the trailer. Bridesmaids:- Excellent! Really good comedy, but is a bit chick-flicky in places.
